The Threat

I'm reallyyyyy sorry about that huge gap in chapters. I'm trying to keep on top of it, but it's really hard because this story is made up. What I mean is, I'm making it up as I'm typing. There was no pre meditation for this book. I'm just winging it to be honest. Shh. I know.

I'll admit, I always make my drama seem WAY bigger than it actually is. Except that last incident. Alex going straight vamp was crazy. Or maybe my life is just boring. But today was different.

We left the school parking lot in Alex's car, leaving the SUV a soggy mess. But he was only slightly upset. Of course I found a way to make him forget all about it.

While he was driving I silently reached over and lightly gripped his shaft through his sweats. Don't judge me, it's mine along with the rest of him. He shot me a look, but was able to stay surprisingly focused as I occasionally stroked him. I already knew I was in for it when we got home, but I didn't care. I was counting on it actually. I was ready for some fun after this already eventful morning.

"That was not fair at all. You knew I couldn't do anything while i was driving." Alex grinned as he pulled into the driveway.

He was outside of the passenger door in a flash, opening it Like a gentleman, which was scarily hot.

I knew there was no way out of this one. As I was raising my hands in defeat, Alex opened the door with a smug smile on his face.

"Yea, but you always get to do the teasing and taunting. I thought it would be nice if I took a shot at it. And I gotta say, I get why you like it so much. Its fun!" I chirped as I happily made my way out of the car, face to face with Alex. "You gonna kiss me or do I have to all the work?" I say as seductively as possible. His eyes darkened with lust as he leaned in to me, kissing me hard. Throwing my arms around his neck, I jumped onto him and wrapped my legs around his waist. He pushed himself on me and had me caught between a "rock" and a hard place. He licked my lips, begging for entrance that I denied. One hand suddenly let go of my ass, although he had no problem holding me up with the other. He used his free hand to stroke me through my shorts and I moaned, accidentally giving him a chance to slip his tongue into my mouth. He explored my mouth until I pulled back some. It was time to finish this inside.

He pulled back and I was left gasping for air while he looked at me with the a concerned look. "Are..you...not..tired?" I say between breaths.

He gave me the most 'you sound like an idiot wtf are you thinking" look and after enduring it for 7 seconds, the thought hit me like a train. He doesn't need to breathe.

"You're right, he doesn't." Alex mocks. He leaned in kissing me softly while the rain dripped down our faces. I love him so much.

He picked me up bridal style and carried me into the house. When we walked in the house, there was no love and laughter, only my scream.

He set me down as I burried my head in the crook of his neck. And he tensed up so much I knew he was upset. I hugged him hard and choked back my tears.

"Please tell me it's not real. Is it...is it really him?"

He slowly nodded his head and hugged him hard.

Roaming around the first floor was sterling, whimpering loudly. He had a blade sticking out of his stomach, a few drops of blood that indicated he has been walking around and a note tucked into his collar.

But he wasn't bleeding. "Alex, explain why your dog isn't dead. I'm happy he's not, but what the fuck."

He made a 'lemme explain' face. "Being that I have quite a bit of money, I had the vampire gene injected into sterling when he was pup. That's why his dog food bags are full of mice and squirrels and other live rodents so I can feed them to him. But I need to see that note. Something tells me I know exactly who thats from." he went over to to the whining dog and yanked the knife out. Sterling screamed in pain and his stomach closed while Alex pulled the note from his collar and read it out loud.

First was the dog
Next comes baby sis
If you want it to stop
Then Just give us this:

The girl you love,
Her sister too
If not, we'll take them
But we're taking you too.

What if baby sis had walked in?
Oh What fun, a nice kid coffin!
She could be next,
Just meet our demands
One slip up and she might lose her hands.

You made us do this Alex. You ignored our first warning. You should've listened. Drop off your girlfriend in the abandoned warehouse in Green Meadow. Don't disappoint.

"What the fuck do they mean 'first warning?" Who wants me and my sister? And more importantly, why?"

"Princess, I haven't been completely honest with you.."

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME? FIRST A VAMPIRE BOYFRIEND, OK, THEN THE DOG, FINE! NOW WHAT?"
