I walk out of the hospital aching in pain following my parents to their car. As I got in I couldn't fight the urge about not thinking of Nick. He made me feel safe, I can't wait to see him on the bus and I got 2 hours it's only 5:00 am. So I will look presentable today no sweats.

when we arrived at the house I ran to my room to pick an outfit. After awhile I finally figured out what I would wear. I thought I would do a badass edgy look with hint of girly. So I picked out faded blue washed ripped jeans with rocker band t shirt with black combat boots. Then I pulled my hair some up and down. I then apply a little eyeliner to pop my brown eyes . Then I apply mascara with nude chapstick and little maybelline red cherry lip gloss. I look at myself in the mirror with amazement. I looked like a different person who was I honestly trying to fool.

I look at the clock and it's 7:05. I only got 15 minutes I run down stairs to grab a bite. when my mom saw me she look at me with astonishment. Annalise what happened to you .... you ...look happy. " thanks mom "

she sets down a plate of eggs for me and I eat a couple bites quickly and dash out the door.

while walking I see a familiar girl from school at my bus stop when I walk up she smiles at me and says,

hi Annalyse. I look at her confusingly.

I suddenly start remembering she is dating Eric they always making googly eyes each other. Another thing is why is she talking to me .

Um if you don't mind me asking why are you talking to me? She looked almost taken back when I said that, i am trying to figure out where I am getting these balls from.

Well you always seemed like a cool person , I just never had chance to confront you about it. okay so how about this after school we go to my place and get to know each other. She answered with a light smile.

cool , sure most definitely. I feel like something is up but then again she could just be nice.

we walk and she sits next Eric, and people give me looks like ewww she is trying to be pretty. Then when I walk to the back to sit in my seat. I see Nick he is just sitting there smirking at me gesturing me sit next to him. I do and I feel his gaze on me it feels like he was looking at me with lust. I felt attracted to it but awkwardly felt uncomfortable. Then he ask if I was hurt, I look at him confusingly. I sit there kinda weirded out because how would he know know if I was hurt, I said no and he look hurt. Then he gently glides his hand on top of mine.

He tries to intertwined I fingers together and when does he gently whisper in my ear saying your beautiful don't let those twigs hurt you . why would I want a twix if I have a snicker right here. My cheeks warm up and when he is about to put his lips on my cheek the bus come to a halt and we jerk forward. I see frustration in his eye. Then I see that we are at school and zoom out of the bus not caring who I knocked DOWN. Then it hit me....
