This is the worst result from bullying, in my opinion. These are innocent lives where bullying went too far. Real people. People you have met could end up doing this. And it's all because someone decided they would pick on them for not being "normal". Nobody is normal. We create an idea of what normal is, but basically we set ourselves up as stereotypes. Nobody is normal. We are all different. If you go to a crowded place, look at every individual face and think about how not one person in the whole place looks like any other. Why is that? Because we are all different. We are all special. We are all unique.

Suicide remains among the leading causes of death of children under 14. And in most cases, the young people die from hanging.

Suicide rates among 10 to 14-year-olds have grown more than 50 percent over the last three decades.

In 2005 (the last year nationwide statistics were available), 270 children in the 10-14 age group killed themselves.

Over 14% of high school students have considered suicide...almost 7% have attempted it.
