S2 Chapter 8 - Evil awakes

<Time passed>

It was the night of all nights, when all of the students in Regal Academy are going to attend the Grand Ball. Everyone were getting ready in their suits and ball gowns. Meanwhile, Hawk and I are also preparing ourselves.

"Don't worry darling! We will get you looking fabulous! I just need to find that dress..." As you all might already know, I don't usually attend balls. This is because the 'Sea Witch' told me, balls are just for 'nice' fairytale people who wear fancy ball gowns that make you look like a fool. But now, I am a SnowWhite and in the SnowWhite's 'handbook', it says that "A SnowWhite never EVER miss a ball!" (I find it kinda weird).

Anyways back to the present, my mom is now rummaging through her closet to find me a dress...cause I don't have one. "No! No! No...YES! This is the one!" My mom pulled out a light blue dress with a red and yellow belt, it also has yellow trimming on the end of it. "Go try it on quick! I bet you will look gorgeous!" My Mother said as she pushed me out of the door. I replied, "Ok fine, Mom..."

<At my bedroom>
I went into the bathroom and locked the door. I examined my dress from the top to bottom. Suddenly, my hands started shaking and heart was beating rapidly.I just feel uncomfortable around beautiful dresses as I thought I was going to look bad in it. I remember the first time I wore a dress. I was only 8 years old. It was that day when I decided to put on one of my Mother's old dresses (Serena). I looked myself through the mirror and I fell in love with it. I had a small dream of being a princess and wishing under a evening star, hoping it will come true. But that dream came to an end, the Sea Witch unexpectedly came to my room and was shocked to see me wearing it. She stomped up to me and furiously scolded me. All her anger turned physical as she slapped me hard. She told me if I wore a dress one more time, she will disown me. Tears rolled down my cheeks after she slammed the door behind her. I took of the dress and threw it into the bin.

Those memories started flooding through my brain. My hands was shaking nonstop and finally, I dropped the dress onto the floor. I quickly ran to the sink and barfed a bit. That evil Sea Witch made me sick! I washed my tired face and gasped for air. I tilted my head up and stared at my reflection. Gosh, I looked terrible. I turned back to my dress that was laying on the floor. I picked it up and hang it on the wall. No...I shouldn't let my old memories kill my future...I should start a new chapter (which I already did). I was not a Sea Witch anymore...I am part of the SnowWhite's family! I took the dress off its hanger and immediately put it on.

Ok...the moment of truth. I moved closer to the mirror and woah, this isn't me at all! I looked like...a fairytale princess...

Now, I am ready for the ball!
