Down there in the underworld blight,
There was a soul, quite happy and bright.
Her heart, though she had none,
Was quite happy and young.Death had kept her there
For quite a long time,
As she kept the mood there
Quite fair and prime. She watered the poplars,
She welcomed the souls,
She played with the kids,
She even fed Cerberus. One day, Life came to visit
Her little brother's domain,
To see if everything's fine
That nothing's up in flames. She met her, the little woman,
Playing with the three-headed dog.
Her name, she said Joan,
She intrigued Life with her mind. That day, first time she fought
With Death, an argument like no other,
For Life wanted Joan for the human realm,
But Death wanted her down there. Finally Life won, Joan was hers.
The underworld cried and rejoiced.
Death asked her for one last saying.
Finally, she whispered, "Hello, Everything !"
