The air is cool, like a sigh
From the snowy mountains.
The sky's a azure sheet,
A cloud painting scribbles
Only it could discern.
Rays of the sun fall slow,
Warming the auburn ground.
It is a pleasant day,
And it mocks me, my pain.
My Dear One lies breathless,
Quiescent on the floor.
I loathe nature's delight
Over my Beloved's flight
From this sub astral realm.
She carried everyone’s heart,
But her heart was with me.
Nature’s wild child was she,
Their hearts the first she held
They hated me because I,
I took her to the towns.
She forgot her wild days,
And the cosmos was sour.
Today they rejoice while,
While I am left weeping
With nary any hands
To wipe this teary face.
Darkness invades slowly,
The horizon turns black.
My Love lies on the floor,
I run my hands over
Her wooden, dainty face.
Lady Night stands behind,
A scornful look she holds
For me, the one who stole
Her heart keeper, she hates.
Her hand runs tenderly
Over my Lover’s face,
Soft smile for my Amour.
Away goes Lady Night
Away goes my Lover,
Her face transfixed in stars.
O inhumane Nature !
You are truly unkind,
You revel my despair.
Every night I look at
The sign of your triumph,
That face lanced in heavens,
And I weep a sad rage
For my Love’s departure
From this earthly domain.
