Jac had been driving for a few hours, and she looked at the clock on her car and saw 00:13. Jac sighed, she had been driving for 3 hours. She looked around the motorway, it was empty apart from the occasional car. Jac sped up from 50MPH to 80MPH. Jac glimpsed at Zosia who was still fast asleep. Jac looked at how much petrol she had, It was a quarter full so Jac turned in to the nearest petrol station. There was a Mcdonalds next to it. Jac pulled in to the station and fuelled up and payed. Jac drove through the drive thru and bought 2 of everything. Jac drove up to the pick up bit and collected the food.
Jac drove back onto the moterway and turned off at a nature park and pulled over into the woods and stopped. It was still pouring with rain the thunder and lightning was still going on. Suddenly a streak of light struck the ground right in front of them, there was the loudest crack of thunder that went on for about 2 minutes. As soon as it sounded, Zosia woke up, screaming and thrashing. Jac yanked her seat belt off and unplugged Zosias and got out and took her out and layed her in the back seat before getting in after her. Zosia was crying, so Jac pulled her into her arms and said "Shh it's ok, are you hungry?" Zosia nodded. Jac leant forward and took two burgers and chips and two coffees. Jac gave Zosia one of each. They both sat in silence apart for Zosias occasional sobs. After they had finished their food, Jac put the massageing seats to night massage and the seats to heated. Jac was exhausted but Zosia was more important so she pushed the seats in to bed mode and got the pillows from the boot with the double duvet. Jac put the pillows in place. Zosia was still sitting, staring at nothing. Jac put her arms round Zosia and moved her into a comfy position. Jac pulled the duvet up and lay down next to her. Zosia shifted slowly towards Jac, and leant on her and snuggled into her chest. Jac smiled and hugged Zosia tighter and pulled the duvet on them. Zosia mumbled "Just because I'm snuggling with you, it doesn't mean we are dating." Jac sighed and replied "I know Zosh im just trying to comfort you". They fell asleep to the heated massageing seats and to each other.
