-Kaye POV-

"Kayeee." Someone was shaking my hips gently. I could feel the sunshine on my face.

I groaned. "Shut up."

"Geez, I thought you'd be nicer after last night." The voice made me open one eye slowly.

Of course, Nash Grier was sprawled across my bed looking at me with his big blue eyes. They were especially blue this morning making me gasp a little.

"Nash! What the hell." I covered my head with the blanket. "I haven't even had a shower or brushed my teeth."

"We used to have sleepover all the time when we little." Nash tried to pull the covers off me. "Act like I never see you with bedhair."

I laughed as he began tickling me through the blanket, knowing my legs were the sensitive spot. I tried to kick him off but Nash yanked the blanket off and pulled me toward him.

"Oh my..." He stopped when he realized I had a baggy shirt and no pants on. But he wasn't fast in moving away.

I laughed. "This is why my door is shut, okay?"

Nash smirk. "In that case, I should come over earlier every morning." He pulled me closer.

"Nash! My parents - "

"Dad left for work, your moms showering or something." Nash said, pushing hair out of my face.

"In which case, I should shower." I tried to get off him, my shirt riding up. I felt self-conscious but found it silly.

How had things just gotten so crazy?

"Kiss me and I'll let you go. Brushed teeth or no."

"You're so annoying." I rolled my eyes but pecked his lips. Nash wasn't even grossed out by it, because he tried to keep me longer.

But I slipped out of his arms.

"Wanna make us coffee while I get ready for school?" I said grabbing a towel.

Nash winked. "Catch you downstairs."

I took a shower quickly that morning but was extra careful with everything. I couldn't wipe a smile off my face that entire morning. Things like this only happen in movies or those fanfics, it just wasn't real right now.

I changed into jeans a casual Cotton On shirt. I slid on Adidas kicks and brought my bag down to meet Nash. I stopped when I neared the kitchen and heard whistling and laughing.

"I haven't seen you this happy since I made brownies for your birthday." My Mom spoke.

I heard Nash chuckle. "Its just good to be alive mama." He calls my mom mama sometimes, which didn't seem weird to any of us.

"You and Kaye spend a lot of time in that kitchen." My mom cleared her throat.

Nash coughed. "Nah its nothing to worry about. We're figuring some stuff out."

"Hmm." I could tell my mom smiling at him. "Just be careful sweety. Kaye has been heartbroken before. Best friend or not, things happen."

Again. She must have been talking about my father. I sighed.

"I agree." Nash said.

They spoke for a few minutes and then i entered. I felt all eyes on me but smiled at mom.

"Morning mom." I kissed her cheek.

"Morning love." She smiled. "I'm heading out, you kids enjoy school!"
