I mastered my shikai, my burn the dance, and dad said he had news for me when I got

Home today, I looked at ichigo who sits next to me and smiled.

"Ichigo, are you feeling better?"

"Yea, just worried if you're ok"

I smiled and he smiled too

"I'm fine ichigo, but you should really stop worrying"

Before he could say anything the bell rang.

"Well I'll talk to you tomorrow Ichigo"

I waved bye and he did too.

Ichigo, with what you saw happen to me, you still smile, and that's what's great about you,

I saw my dad in the parking lot and he had a frown on his face,

"Dad, are you ok?"

I giggled and he managed a smile, then he began driving.

When we got home I put all of my stuff in my room and I saw Yourichi looking sad in the living room

"Yourichi what's wrong?"

"Kate could you come in here? Me and your dad have to talk to you"

I sat down and I saw the sadness in their faces.

"Daddy, what's wrong?"

"Kate, I have to send you away"

I stepped back and I looked at my father

"What do you mean, "send away?"

"I have to send you to the soul society, hollows will become attracted to you, and I cant

Protect you if your being targeted basicly, it's for everyone to be safe"

I looked down and saw the expression on Yourichi's face, she knew it was the right thing to do.

"Fine, but on a acception, I will come back every other year, so I can still see my friends, they still

Need me, I need them"

My father nodded and I went to my room, I cried.

~kisuke pov~

Yourichi looked at me and looked down

"there's something I haven't told you kisuke"

"What?"

"There's a captain, and he might be realated to Kate"

"How?"

"His name is Toshiro Hitsugaya"

I looked at Yourichi and I had wide eyes and looked down

"Kate and Toshiro have the same mother, but I have seen Toshiro, he looks very different from Kate"

I looked at Yourichi

"How, i thought Kate was her only child?"

"Toshiro is older, he doesn't even know Kate exists"

Having a brother who doesn't even know about you, but I loved Kate's mother.

She never told me about having another child, I geuss secrets reveal after a long time.

I stood up and I pushed my hat over my head

"Yourichi, I want you to help Kate get to the soul society, and make sure she gets into the

Soul academy, safely"

Yourichi nodded and went to my daughters room, then I heard a knock at the door

I answered and a unexpected visitor came.

"Ichigo, Kate's going somewhere, she wont be back for a while"

Ichigo looked worn out

"Please, I have to talk to her before she leaves,"

I nodded and let him go running to her room.

Kate, say your last goodbyes.

~Kate pov~

I heard my door open and it was ichigo holding a necklace staring at me.

"Kate, before your go, remember me by this"

He gave me a necklace with a silver star on it.

I looked at him and cried, hugging him

"I'll be back soon, don't worry ichigo ill-"

I got cut off when ichigo hugged me back

"Kate, I'll wait for you, until then, do what you have to do"

I stopped hugging him and pulled away.

"Ichigo, promise me, you will keep a smile on your face, and have happiness in your heart"

He nodded and I put the necklace around my neck and I saw ichigo starting to walk away.

"Don't take too long Kate, keep your promise"

I nodded and ichigo left.

That is the last time I'll see ichigo, until next year.
