Chapter 59: Confession

-2 hours at the festival Kate pov-

"Ishida kun, stop that!"

Inoue laughed as Uryu was throwing marshmallows at her at one stand and i looked over to another stand and saw Chad and Tatsuki joking around

i smiled then sighed

"Its a festival, be happy for once-"

I looked behind me and saw Ichigo holding a Panda bear as he was scratching his head

"Inoue loves pandas Ichi, she'll love-"

"Its not for her its-"

"-oh for Tatsuki, aw that's so ni-"

he shoved it in my face and laughed

"Its for you idiot"

I grabbed the panda and looked at it blushing

"Thanks Ichi, and i have a question"

he gave a him and I looked at the night sky full of lanterns

"Why did you care if I was lonely or not?"

I asked and he looked up also

"Because, nobody likes being alone, even if they don't like other people, and you of all people-"

"though If I had been devoured, I would have helped everyone-"

I was interrupted when Ichigo grabbed my hand and made me turn around to look at the others at the stands

"Your a damn idiot if you think getting killed is ever going to help-!"

"If I died Then Shuuhei would still be alive-!"

I yelled and he gave me a sad look and pulled me in for a hug,

"Ichi why-!"

I started to get red and my face felt like 1000°

"It wasn't anyone's fault Kate, and Shuuhei would have wanted you to live on, a great life and someday even be a success in life!"

he said and my eyes widened and I pulled from the hug

"Ichi, you can't be hugging me out of random like that!"

I said and he grinned a bit

"how about you put your face in a freezer then we can talk"

he laughed and I covered my face with the panda and I ran off not knowing where I was going

after a few moments I found myself by a willow tree on the side of the near by pond

i sat at the bench and looked at all of the stars

"Could you stop running off like at school?"

I heard Ichigo and I rolled my eyes as he sat next to me and I held the panda in my lap

"Ichi, Stop embarrassing me like that-!"

I said then he laughed scratching his head

"Its fun because your so small and-"

he stopped and I saw a little bit of red on his face and i grinned evilly

"And what Ichi?"

"-annoying!"

he said immediately and I gave a glare while sighing

"Well at least I'm not a cry baby anymore unlike you"

he said and I grabbed the collar of his kimono without thinking and I got angry

"well you haven't ki-"

I stopped and i started getting red as he chuckled

i let go of His collar and stood up

"I did remember Kate, I'm not that stupid"

he said and as I was trying to cover my face to walk away my hand was yanked and I was turned around to face Ichigo towering over me

my face got red as he was staring at me,

i-is he?! n-no he isn't going to kiss me, he wouldn't do that i mean- w-would he

i closed my eyes to not blush then I felt my lips touch ichigo's

my body was now melted on the inside and his lips were soft, he pulled back and I opened my eyes to see his face red also

he scratched the back of his head and his eyes were lowered

"I geuss our promises are kept huh?"

I said then he looked at me

"Kate, listen i-"

he studdered and I just hugged him, burying my face in his chest

"Ichi, i-i love you-!"

I said and I felt my soul leave my body and my shyness come back

"I Love you also-"

he said and I widened my eyes

He pulled from the hug and I looked up at him as he was smiling

"Ichigo you really do-?"

i asked and he held my hand

"ever since I was 11 Kate"

I blushed more and he leaned in again as I closed my eyes and felt his lips again

my first kiss, with a person I love.

"LOVEBIRD ALERT!"

i heard and ichigo pulled away slowly and we saw the group here, tatsuki laughing and Inoue smiling while uryu had a evil laugh

i felt my face get really red again and I his my face with the panda

"You guys are a bunch of d*cks you know that right?"

Ichigo said coldly and I heard Uryu stop laughing

"Ichigo, we all knew it was going to happen, just we didn't know when you were going to grow a pair of balls and man up"

he said and i heard Ichigo kick his gut and they started fighting, I stopped hiding and tried to help
