Chapter 60: Promise of love.

-Kate pov-

I woke up and sighed, it was all just a dream, great now my brain is dysfunctional

i rubbed my eyes and walked to my dresser brushing my hair and getting clothes on

as I went to the living room I saw dad and he smiled

"How was the festival last night?"

he asked and i gave him a questioned look

"I actually-"

i said and I felt my face get red and I ran to my room and shut the door, letting my face heat up

i-i, I mean w-we, no Ichigo and i kissed, and it wasn't a dream

i smiled a bit giggling

and he said he loved me...

its an amazing feeling, I'm just nervous to talk to him now.

i saw the panda bear by my closet and I picked it up holding it

Ichigo..

*Ring beep beep*

my phone went off and I answered it

"hello?"

'Hey Its Ichigo'

I felt my face get warm and I smiled

"Hey Ichi what's up?"

I said cheerfully and I could hear a chuckle

'Do you wanna go to the park with me this afternoon?'

he said and I widened my eyes

usually we go to the park with others but, wait is this a, date?!

"Yea, sure, see ya then"

'see ya bye'

I hung up and saw Yourichi on the end of my bed which caught me off guard and I screamed

"Yourichi why are you-!"

"Is Kate going on a date.?"

she said smiling and i blushed a little

"N-no, just hanging out with Ichigo that's all-"

"Kate your 17, I doubt its a play date"

she said smartly and I picked her up setting her in the hall

"I gotta get ready"

I closed the door and sighed

-----Noon----

I reached the park entrance and walked in to the park center seeing Ichigo with a light blue hoodie with black jeans while I had blue shorts and a red ruffle shirt

i walked up to Ichigo and he smiled

"hey right on time, but sure as heck your always late for class"

he said jokenly and I smiled

"Not my fault, the bell hates me"

He smiled and gestured me towards a walking path and we started walking

"Ichigo, about yesterday, thank you-"

"No, thank you, for telling me you love me"

he replied and I started to blush deeply as he smiled at me

"N-no, thank you for saying it back-"

I studdered and he stopped and I looked at him as he grabbed my hand gently

"Ichigo..."

I said softly then he came closer to me and looked at me

"Kate, i-, want you to be mine!"

he asked and I blushed more

he's asking me out, i-

"Y-you w-what-?"

I panickly said while blushing and he kept his grip on his hand tight enough to not let mine go.

"I want to be with you, my whole life so, will you go out with me?"

he said and I saw his face grow more red and I smiled and kissed his cheek

"Yes"

I responded as he hugged me tightly and I closed my eyes, enjoying his warmth and scent

I put my hand on his chest and grabbed his jacket lightly

"I-"

he stopped me with a smile on his face and I blushed more

"I promise, you won't have to ever be alone again, or hurt"

he said and I started to tear up

"Ichigo..."

i drifted then he pulled from the hug and held my hand gesturing to the park exit

"Let's get some food hm?"

he said and I smiled nodding as we walked out holding hands.

I'll never be alone. I'll also have a reason to fight.

for Ichigo. and

for mom and Shuuhei.

but for now i geuss i can try to keep a relationship with the person I love.

but i geuss I'll save the rest another time
