Me: Jen..stop

I walked passed her and continued to put my clothes in my bag

Jen: So that's it?..your just gonna leave
Me:..You lucky I stayed this long..
Jen: Lucky?

She had her arms crossed over her chest while glaring at me

Me: Yeah I could've left you
Jen: No Nigga..I could've left you..last time I almost did ..but you were crying..begging on yo knees for me to stay

Wow bringing up old shit...but she ain't lying I did cry. It was that one time when we were newlyweds and she threatened to leave me because I was so busy..back then I loved her so much and prayed for her never to leave me but now she changed and I wouldn't even cared if she left

Me: Okay... Listen to me and listen to me well.. I could've left you that year when we were arguing so Much that you threw plates at me..I could've left you left our child home alone with no one I really should've left you then but I didn't..I could've left when you beat my ass yesterday morning over some dumb shit..but I never left you...now why is that ..

She looked at me but didn't say a word

Me: Because I Love you...I loved you then and I Love you now..that's why I'm gonna go and stay at this hotel for a while so you can work on yourself
Jen: I don't need to work on myself
Me:...But you do..and I'm not gonna stand here and go back and forth with you on shit you cant even admit..that's why I'm leavin

I grabbed my two big bags and walked passed her and made my way downstairs.. Nova was waiting my the door with 2 bags of her own...I decided to take her with me ..she doesn't need to be around her mom right now

Jen: First You wanna split with me and now you wanna take my child..hell Nahh I'm putting my foot down
Me: Guess what..I gotta foot too and I'm putting it down in me and NOVA'S hotel room.

I grabbed Novas bag and we both walked out the house

Jen: You'll be back ..you always come back
Me: Now don't feel shitty when I don't come back

Nova: is this our new home Daddy
Me: For a while baby
Nova: Are you and Mommy fighting
Me:..Just a little..we will only be here for a while baby

Nova was jumping on the bed while I was unpacking ...I can't believe Jen didn't put up a fight when I took Nova..I thought she would at least scream or some shit like that ...didn't do nothing..now I see

I grabbed my phone from the nightstand and looked at the screen..it was Aurora

Me: Hello Gorgeous
Aurora: You know..I can't keep missing work because of you..we all can't
Me: I know I'm sorry I'm just settling in ..
Aurora: Into what?
Me: My temporary home for a few nights..
Aurora: You actually moved to a hotel.is she that bad
Me: You already know..and she ain't really care so I'm not Finna sweat it with her.. Imma let her do her for a while ..while me and Nova have the Time of our lives Here..Right baby girl

She smiled at me

Aurora: You are so miserable
Me: what?
Aurora: You know you wanna be with it someone other than your daughter ..Jen
Me: I don't wanna be with Jen but right now..at this moment..I rather be with you..and Nova ..spending time together ...
Aurora: Is that right?
Me: Yes ..it is..so how about tonight you come over..and watch a movie with us ..Alittle bit of popcorn...some dranks ..it'll be fun
Aurora: ANOTHER DATE
Me: Get over yourself ..just some bonding with me and my daughter ..I want you to meet her
Aurora: So soon?
Me: Yup..See you tonight
Aurora:..You better have some nice ass wine

And with that she hung up ...

Me: Nova can you put those DvDs back please ..Thank you.

I walked to the door and took a deep breath..

Me: who is it?
Aurora: your joking right?

I opened the door and there she was ..as beautiful as ever. She walked In the room and shove me alittle

Aurora: Such a douche
Me: I know .
Aurora: OMG ..who is this cutie pie

She walked up to Nova and Nova smiled

Me: That's my baby. My little supernova
Aurora: Hi. I heard alot about you ..I'm Aurora
Nova: like the princess
Aurora: Yeah something like that.
Nova: your very pretty
Aurora: Not as pretty as you

I watched as they were getting along so great...Nova really likes her

Aurora: so what are we watching
Me:..I hope you like Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
Aurora: Oh makes me hungry for meatballs
Nova: good because we're watching cloudy with a chance meatballs
Me: watch your attitude
Aurora:Leave her alone

I looked over my shoulder and checked the time.. its midnight.. late as fuck. Nova was sleeping on the sofa while me and Aurora were on the big couch. We were so close, like we were really touching each other. Gave me fucking goosebumps. I didn't know she was dozing off, Her head was slowing rocking back and forth. She couldve just laid on me if she was tired.. she looks extremely beautiful when she's sleep. I dont want to wake her, I shouldn't. 

I slowly moved my hand over her cheek. It slightly touched her but with one slight movement her head fell on my shoulder.. She moved alittle but she never moved off of me.. 

Me: Finally 

Aurora: Shut up 

Oh..I smiled and closed my eyes. I guess we gonna stay like this
