"WAKE UP!"
"Jesus!" I grumble, the white lights of daytime pouring in through my eyelids. I blink hard several times, trying to adjust to the brightness. Fuzzy objects become more clear and I lazily look up to see Louis in front of me. I sit up, my neck in pain from the position I was in on the couch. I glance forward at the television, my memory slowly coming back of Niall and I watching some scary movie on there and making fun of the acting.
"What time did you two get back from the pool last night?" he asks, before I hear Niall mumble to bug off. I glance over to see him dangling slightly off the couch, his head in the opposite direction that mine was in.
"It's breakfast time, you lazy bum." Louis smacks him lightly on the back of his head.
"Louis!" a female freaks out, her voice sounding so soft and gentle.
"Is that Eleanor?" Niall mumbles, half asleep.
"Yes!" she giggles. I perk up, waking up even more. Niall told me about her, Louis' girlfriend. "Is this Niall's girlfriend?! I'm so excited to meet you and for Niall-"
"Eleanor!" Louis coughs, trying to catch her mid sentence.
I turn my head a bit to see a short, thin brunette with really wavy hair. Her skin looks flawless and her brown eyes shine bright in the light. I instantly feel jealous of her seemingly natural beauty. Her hands are covering her mouth, as she stares up at Louis like she just got into deep trouble.
"We're just friends." I giggle, "Hi, I'm Megan. I'm so sorry about my appearance right now."
"Oh, you have no reason to be!" she laughs softly. I can hear a soft snore from beside me and I grab the small couch pillow and hit Niall with it. He pops up almost immediately, grumbling that he's up.
"Just give us a few minutes to get ready." I smile sheepishly, feeling so gross in comparison to her.
"Why do you have to get ready? Can't you just go in that?" Niall grumbles, his voice deeper than usually from sleep.
"No. If you want to get the table real quick though, I'll meet you guys there! I won't be long, I just feel disgusting right now. The little restaurant upstairs, right?" I glance between the couple in front of us, waiting for the answer. Eleanor just looks up at Louis, and he nods in affirmation before stating, "We gotta eat and then head to the next town. But we get the day off, and it isn't a long flight apparently. Like two hours, I think."
"Yeah, I'll be quick." I nod my head, before hopping off the couch. I run off to the bathroom, lock the door behind me and pull my hair up in a ponytail. I take a quick shower, using the hotels complementary soap and leaving my hair untouched, before brushing my teeth. After the pool last night, I took a late shower to wash the chlorine out of my hair, and I am not dealing with my hair again right now. It can stay a slightly curly, or wavy, mess for now.
I wrap the towel around me and head out to the room Niall and I had shared the night before to get dressed. By the sound of it, everyone has already left and it's just me left in the hotel room. The only makeup I bother to put on is a quick swipe of mascara, and I begin to leave the hotel room. I grab my purse from the coffee table, and make my way out, while pulling the ponytail holder out of my hair to let it free. I throw the holder into my purse and shut the door behind me, walking down the corridor to the lifts.
I smile at the guard who gave me a hard time twice as I pass him to press the button. I quietly hum a random tune until the doors to the lift open. I step in and press the button to the floor that actually says the restaurant's name on it. Easy way to know where that and the pool is in this hotel.
Someone's hand stops the doors from closing all the way, and I glance up to see Harry walk in.
"Did you wait until I left the room to leave?" I gape.
"No." he scoffs, leaning back against the metal wall. "Yes. We never finished our talk."
"Why are you so hung up over this?" I whisper yell as the doors shut.
"I say we shouldn't do stuff like that, and you say 'okay' like it's no big deal. How is it no big deal to you?" he freaks out a little, unexpectedly.
I stare at him in confusion before something clicks in me. I perk up straight and look him up and down before asking, "Is this because you're some big popstar and you expect all girls to be begging for you?"
"What?" he grimaces, "No, that's not it at all. It's just, I don't know what it is. I know, or I think I know, you felt it too. You're right, we don't really know each other...but you can't deny the chemistry that we have together. I'm not the only one feeling it, right? I've been watching you, I see the way you react to me, just when I look at you."
"Harry, wh-"
He shuffles forward, grabs my face with both hands, and his lips cut me off. My eyes fall shut and I melt into him. Time feels like it slows down and I can feel warmth taking over my body. His lips move with mine, slowly yet sensually. The swelling feeling in my chest from my heart racing returns, and my skin tingles at the touch of his hand wandering onto my back.
Ding.
He lets go of me, and I open my eyes, wishing that it did not come to an end. "Get to know me." he whispers before walking out of the lift first. Obviously, he referencing to the fact that I said we don't really know each other and I'm not the type of girl to do stuff with guys I don't know well. I grab onto my left arm with my hand and squeeze, which is just my way of dealing with nerves sometimes.
I follow behind him, straight through into the restaurant where the hostess points to the table where the others are. The only two seats left available is next to Niall and across from that one, next to Zayn.
I, of course, take a seat next to Niall, where he holds the menu to his chest. "I already ordered for you."
"What?" I laugh.
"Coffee, creamed chip beef over hashbrowns, bacon, and one sausage." he says confidently, and I can't help but to smile. His mum made me that for breakfast sometimes, I was obsessed with it.
"Just one sausage?" Louis snorts, "Why not two?"
"Because I have a love hate relationship for sausage. I want to try it, but if I don't like it, I don't want to waste it." I mumble, partially embarrassed. It was something I always grew up doing for no really known reason, except for the fact that sometimes I loved it and sometimes I hated it. "He knows me well." I continue, glancing up at Harry in that moment. We lock eyes and he quickly covers his smirk with his hand, before asking if anyone ordered for him.
