"So, there is nothing going on between you two?" Eleanor questions, eyeing me suspiciously. I shake my head 'no' with a bit of laughter, amused that she's still on this. It's been hours of her questioning everything, since breakfast, on the plane ride, and up until we got to this airport here in California. Now it's just her and I, in the airport bathroom.
"Why not? Niall needs a girlfriend!" she huffs, obviously displeased by my answer.
"No, he's too much like a brother to me. I mean at one point in our friendship, I did like him like that...but, I can't date him. It'd be too weird." I shake my head, "And I do want him to get a girlfriend, but at the same time I don't. I feel like when he does, it'll be the end of our friendship if that girl gets jealous. So, I don't know."
"Maybe one day." she winks. I roll my eyes, grinning at her persistence. I push open the bathroom door with her right behind me, only to be greeted by a bright flash in my face. I shrink back, bumping into Eleanor, while shielding my face.
"Finally got a picture of Niall's mystery girl without anything covering her face! What's your name, sweetheart?" an older man yells, flashing his camera in my face repeatedly.
"Hey! Get away!" Eleanor screams, grabbing onto me from behind. Panic takes over, my chest tightening, as I cover my face with my hand, trying to walk past him with Eleanor holding onto me. Now I regret wandering away from the guys and security for a bathroom, when I should've went on the plane earlier.
"Come on, what's your name? Where are you from? How long have you two been together?"
"Keep walking and ignore him." Eleanor mutters close to my ear. I so badly want to lash out at this guy for following us and being so close to us, with a camera in our faces. Disrespectful prick.
"Yo, leave them alone!" an all too familiar voice yells. The man keeps flashing away, and I keep my hands over my face. Someone grabs onto my arm, pulling me back, and causing me to jump out of fright. I glance up to see Niall with his arm around me, a guard now ordering the guy to get away. Niall pushes me the other way, Eleanor following in suit.
"What was he saying?" Niall asks as we meet up with Louis. Eleanor grabs onto his arm, before answering for me, "The prick just asked who she was and how long you two have been together."
"What'd you say?" he looks at me, eyes narrowed with concern. I just shake my head softly an mumble a quick 'nothing' before grabbing my luggage from beside Louis.

"Niall Horan FINALLY has a girlfriend...here's the inside scoop on Megan Green, the girl that broke fans' hearts."
I flip to page of the article to see the picture of me in the airport, and some information about me. It states my name, that I'm Niall's neighbor, what uni I go to, and even mentions that I live with just my dad. All via an 'inside source'.
"How? This literally happened yesterday! Yesterday! Why am I in this magazine?" I freak out, ranting for the tenth time. I drop the magazine on the table and face Niall. He's too focused playing football on a video game, he probably heard two words out of all of it.
"It's a dumb article, it will blow over. People aren't going to believe that crap. Trust me." he speaks up, moving his body left and right along with his video game character. "Just don't look online." he adds a few seconds later.
My eyes widen and I pull my phone out of my pocket. I know he said not to look, but because he said not to, I have the urge to. I'm pretty sure anyone would, if they were in my shoes. Twitter is my first option, and already I see a flood of people requesting to follow me on there. I silently thank my dad for making sure every account on social media private.
