Finally, after two weeks of planning and preparing the campaign, it was ready. Jaylin Henderson, the older sister of the adorable Dustin Henderson, sat in her crap car trying to get it started. After a couple of tries, the car made an unhealthy sound before coming to life. Jaylin hand cranked her dirty window down so she could shout out to her brother who was getting on his bike, "I'll meet you at the Wheeler's house. I just have to pick up the pizza, be careful!" She shouted out as Dustin was already making his way down the street, "I will!" she barely heard him call out to her in return.

Jaylin drove down to the local pizza shop, the roads and streets empty due to the early morning hour. As Jaylin picked up a couple of pepperoni and sausage pizzas for the day she was questioned on the early hour for ordering pizza. She laughed it off and made it back to the Wheeler's house in fifteen minutes.

As she entered the house, careful to not make to much noise as not to wake anyone, she made her way towards the basement where she made her way downstairs with the pizza. As soon as she was in the basement she was bombarded by four different boys, "Come on Jaylin, we have to start the campaign. We've already set it up." Mike yelled. Jaylin laughed and joined in with their excitement, "Ok, ok. Hello to you guys too. Just let me put the pizza down then we can start." she told them, "Hurry!" they all yelled back at her.

Ten hours later the game was getting good. They all lost track of time, including Jaylin, who was supposed to be the more responsible one being the sixteen years old and all, got caught up in the motion of the game. They were all sitting there anticipating Mike's turn as he stared up from his board wall in front of him, "Something is coming," Mike began, "Something hungry for blood. A shadow grows on the wall behind you, swallowing you in darkness. It, is almost here."

Will looks at Mike, "What is it?" he asked. Dustin spoke out,"What if it's the Demogorgon?" Will slumps back in his chair as Dustin continues, "Oh, Jesus, we're so screwed if it's the Demogorgon." Then Lucas calls out, "It's not the Demogorgon!" Jaylin then puts her hand on the table then leans forward, "Lucas is right, it can't be the Demogorgon or we're so done for."

Then all of a sudden Mike shoots his hand forward then slams his piece on the board, "An army of troglodytes charge into the chamber!" Dustin looks amused as he says, "Troglodytes?" Lucas looks at him in triumph, "Told ya." Jaylin then looks at the two boys, "Guys, Mike's not done his turn yet."

Before anyone could respond Mike starts to speak again, "Wait a minute. Do you hear that?" Mike pauses for one dramatic second, "That, that sound? Boom, boom, BOOM!" Mike slams his hand down on the last boom. "That didn't come from the troglodytes," Mike continues, "No, that, that came from something else." Everyone is silent, waiting to see what Mike is playing at, then, "The Demogorgon!" Mike slams the Demogorgon piece down.

Everyone groans, "We're in deep shit," Dustin claims. Jaylin hits his arm, "Mouth, Dustin but you're right, we are really deep in that shit now." Mike then yells towards Will, "Will, your action!" Will threw up his hands, " I don't know." "Fireball him!" Lucas tells Will. "I'd have to roll a thirteen or higher," Will argues back. "Too risky. Cast a protection spell," Dustin says. "I agree. A protection spell will be less risky," Jaylin agrees with her brother. "Don't be a pussy. Fireball him!" Lucas yells. "Cast protection," Dustin and Jaylin yell together.

All of a sudden Mike calls out again," The Demogorgon is tired of your silly human bickering! It stomps towards you. BOOM!" "Fireball him!" Lucas yells. "Another stomp, boom!" Mike calls out. "Cast protection!" Dustin and Jaylin yell out together once again. "He roars in anger!" Mike yells out again. "Fireball!--Protection!," yells Lucas and Jaylin at the same time. "Fireball!" Will calls as he throws the dice.
