My Favorite Subject Is Anatomy And My Most Hated Teacher Is You

"If I call your name, say present and raise your hand." The so-called Mr. Kim told us. I think he haven't notice me yet. I wish if he does saw me, he will not embarass me to my new classmates.

"Choi Jin-Ri"

"Present"

"Present"

As the names if the students in the list drew nearer and nearer to my name, I felt very nervous. There's always a possibility that Jonghyun will humiliate me. He also hates me like the way I hate him. We never got any chance to talk properly without any fights. If that happened then maybe something happened to him like what happened to my brother. Weird though.

"Jung Soo Jung"

"Present"

"Kang Ye Jin"

"Present"

"Kim Chae Rin"

"Present"

"Kim... Kim Gwiboon.." He finally called and I closed my eyes, waiting for some unwanted remarks from him. I always expect some disgusting words from him. Whether public or private, I know that he can do it as long as he embarassed me in front of everybody.

I slowly raised my hands and took a peek using my left eye. I can see him looking at me with a smirk on his lips. Oh no... It's going to start.

"Kim Gwiboon? What's wrong?" He asked and I shot open my eyes. I sat properly and fixed my uniform. Everybody are looking at me weirdly. Loom what you've done, Kim Gwiboon!

"Uhm.. present.." I spoke and he looked down again on his list. That's weird. He didn't say anything about me?

As he finished calling our names, he stood up from his chair and faced the blackboard. He picked up a chalk and wrote something.

"A...n... wait.. what?"

"Anatomy. Let's start our first lesson in Anatomy." He said as he turned back to face us. I was shocked. Deeply shocked. How can he teach Anatomy? I mean.. Anatomy is everything.. Anatomy is you know.. My favorite subject! No, I couldn't study properly with him as my teacher. I just can't accept him as my adviser and now that he's teaching anatomy.. I just want to die.

"Now, let's study digestive system first."

Oh right, digestive system. Great. One of my best and favorite topic in anatomy.

"But before we could study digestive system, let's define what Anatomy is. Who can give us a good definition?" He asked and walked towards the class. He pointed at the long haired girl at the back and she stood up.

"What's your name, darling?" He asked her in the flirty way. Yes, flirty way.

"Shin Rye Mi.."

"So.. Ms. Shin, could you give me a good definition of Anatomy?" He leaned closer to the girl's face like he was about to kiss her. That's illegal, right?

"Uhm.. Anatomy is the study of digestive system?"

"Is that an answer or a question? Well, that's okay pretty girl. Let's ask the others." He walked around the room and pointed at the boy at my back.

"So.. What is Anatomy?" He asked the boy who's chewing a gum. "I don't know. A subject?" Everyone laughed including me. That's right though, Anatomy is a subject. Good point.

Jonghyun saw me laughing and he glared at me. So, is this my time to shine?

"You, Kim Gwiboon, what is anatomy?" I stood up, slapping my palm on the table and my eyes lued to his.

"Anatomy from the Greek word anatome, means dissection, is a branch of natural science dealing with the structural organization of living things. It is an old science, having its beginnings in prehistoric times. For centuries anatomical knowledge consisted largely of observations of dissected plants and animals. The proper understanding of structure, however, implies a knowledge of function in the living organism."

Everybody looked me with disbelief. I know, I'm good, right? I sat on my chair and he straighten his body.

"Anatomy is a study of the body plan of animals. Anatomy can also study the way how organs function inside the body. It doesn't need too much words to define what Anatomy is. You're just making it so complicated." He said and walked back in front of us.

"Since all of you doesn't know much about this subject. I'll leave you an assignment. You have to research about digestive system, it's parts and it's function. You also need to draw the system in order to determine the parts. You'll submit it tomorrow morning. I hope you will all do it and gain good grades. For now, open your books on page 15 and read more about Anatomy."

First day of classes, we have homework.. I hate this teacher. Well, it's okay.. Anatomy is my favorite subject after all. I can do it and prove him that I'm good in this subject. You'll see, Mr. Kim. You'll see...
