My Family Is So Unfair

It’s Saturday night and our flight will be tomorrow morning. I hate this. I hate leaving Daegu just because of my brother. Why is he always controlling me? I’m not a kid anymore!

“Gwiboon-ah! Can you put this one on your luggage?” My Oppa said as he peeked from my door. “Mine’s already full and why are you bringing so much? I know, you’ll buy some clothes there when we got off from the plane.” I said. “I can’t leave my babies here alone in our house. In fact, this is my favorite outfit.” Kibum oppa whined. Oh, yes… My oppa acts like a child. I can’t even identify who’s younger between me and him. “Oppa… All of your clothes are your favorite.” I said in sarcastic tone.

“Gwiboon! Kibum! Dinner’s ready!” Umma called downstairs. I ran outside from my room and rushed to the dining room. I’m really hungry.

“Woah.. Easy, young woman! You might hurt yourself.” Umma warned and I just shrugged it off.

*Boog*

“Ahh…”

“I warned you.” She said and I stood up to sit on my respective place. Everybody came to the table and we started our dinner.

“So… Gwiboon, Have you packed your things already?” Umma asked and I nodded. “Neh.”

“Don’t bring too much, okay?” My mother said. “I only have one luggage and oppa has three. It’s unfair! I’m the girl here!” I complained.

“Well, you can buy something else in Seoul. Just ask your brother. Arasso?” Umma told me and I glared at my brother. He just grinned like an innocent child. Oh, I wanna kick his ass off.

“Gwiboon! Did you understand what I had said?” She asked again and I nodded. “Neh, Umma.”

“Good. Be a good girl there on your new school.” She said.

“I will, Umma.”

Cellphone, check. Passport, check. Ticket, check. Pebbles... Pebbles, where is pebbles? 

"Umma! Have you seen Pebbles?" I shouted. "Honey, you're already seventeen! You don't need such things like that!" Umma said as she entered my room. "But Umma.. Pebbles is my favorite bear! She was given by   Appa!" I whined. Yes, Appa is not here. He's not really here because.. He's dead. 

"Aish! This girl!" My Umma muttered. She walked out from my room to her room and grabbed Pebbles. She gave it to me and I hugged her tightly. 

"Thank you, Umma!" I said and hugged her. "Just hurry up and you'll be late on your flight." She said and I placed Pebbles on my backpack. She fits perfectly in there. 

I walked out from my room down to the living room. I waited for my brother to finish his business and called for a cab. The cab drove us to the airport and we are now ready to say goodbye to my birthplace. 

I sighed. "Well, it's time to say goodbye now, Daegu!" I mumbled and my brother looked at me weirdly. I rolled my eyes and pulled my trolly. Umma followed us and guided us to the information center. 

"So... It's time to say goodbye now." She said, nearly crying. "Are you sure you don't want to join us?" Kibum asked and she nodded. "I need to be with your Halmoni." She said and hugged him. "Be good. Okay?" Umma told my brother and she pulled back. Umma looked at me and she gave me a hug. "I'm going to miss you, two. Enjoy yourselves there. Arasso?" She said and I nodded. 

"So... Text me if you had arrived already, okay?" She noted and we happily responded with a smile. She waved her hands and wiped her tears. I'm also in the crying mode but my brother here is so annoying that he grabbed my wrist to carry his bag. Oh, what a gentleman! 

After an hour or so traveling, we had arrived in Seoul, particularly in our apartment. It's huge and clean. There are three rooms and each of those rooms have their own bathrooms. Well, my brother has a good taste in picking up apartments. I wonder how much is this costs. Hmm.. It doesn't matter as long as he is the one paying. 

I opened my room and it was so pretty. I can see the tall buildings on the window and of course the walls are painted in pink. I opened the luggage and was surprised with what I had seen. 

"OPPA!" I shouted and he ran to my room. 

"What?" 

"Where are my clothes?" I asked angrily. 

"Oops! I left it in Daegu!" My brother smirked and left the room. I really hate my brother. I really do.
