dear james,

     i just escaped another attack.

     i don't know why he's targeting me. but i think it's only a matter of time before he finally gets me.

     congratulations on finishing sixth year! pretty soon you'd finish seventh, and get a job, a family, which i am assuming would be with lily since it's obvious i'd die first before we'd get together.

     people at hogwarts think i'm a death eater now, remus told me. i wish you don't think of me like that too james.

     you're the only person i want to not think of me that low. ever since the beginning, you're the only thing that made me realise what's right. you're the person that made me see that i don't need to be like every other slytherin, and look what that's got me.

     i don't blame you tho. if i still had my beliefs three years ago, i probably would've exploded in joy if i get to serve voldemort. but now that you made me realise what is right... i'd rather die than serve him.
