                   Ryan's POV

I was sitting in the school auditorium, tapping my foot impatiently. It was 4:08 and I, along with 17 other people, were waiting for our director, Mr. Neidfelt to get back from the prop room.

I should probably explain to you guys what this wing looks like. Let me break this down. The auditorium is branched off of the cafeteria. Passed the commons area is the 12th grade locker wing. If you were to go down passed about 3 classrooms, a lab, and the women's bathroom, you would end up at the prop room. Whoever designed that deserves to get fired. Like, seriously. Who the hell put the prop room so far away from the stage?!

While we wait for him to return, I pull out my phone and decide to text Matt. Not sure what to say yet, but I'll figure something out.

You: hi-a matt

Matty: haha hey ryan. i thought you had play practice

You: i do, neidfelt is grabbing something and im bored

Matty: im not that interesting, ya know

You: i know

Matty: well... i see how it is

You: what?

You: matt?
You: where the fuck did you go?

You: MATT! I TAKE IT BACKKKK! im so lonely here lol

Matty: yeah i know.

You: but hey, i have you to keep me company for now

Matty: tru. OH! i have an idea.

You: congratulations!

Matty: shuddup

Matty: what time do you get out of class?

You: 5:15 I believe. why

Matty: maybe we could hang out. like, walk home n shit.

Ok, Ryan, don't panic! Just say yes. Simple.

You: yeah, sure! thatd be cool

Too casual? Nah, I think I'm good...

Matty: cool! ill be there at like 5-ish

You: sounds good matty! ill ttyl byeeeee

Matty: oml ok bye ry ttyl

Mr. Neidfelt sauntered back into the auditorium with the cart of props in front of him.

"Who the hell puts the prop closet in a totally different wing than the auditorium? Good Christ!" he panted. There was an array of laughter throughout the auditorium. "Alright guys! So we did the vocal practice, introduction, and warm-ups. Now, we need to talk about the performances and productions we will be putting on this year. A lot of them will be romance productions based on novels." Hell yeah! I totally got this.

-                           -                              -

I forgot how fast time went by whilst I was in the auditorium. Before I knew it, it was 4:55. Usually, at five to, we walk around and just socialize with every other drama student. It's almost a tradition here. I pack up my stuff and then begin walking up and down the rows either introducing myself or hearing some else's introduction.
