If you have strange nicknames, you're not alone.
This takes place last year, even though all of our nicknames are still used, but not to this extent.
Nicknames just come to you, no matter what you do. This is how my nicknames came to me.
When I was little, all I wanted to be was a chicken. I even made my parents call me chicken (other extremely embarrassing details that my closest friends don't even know will be excluded).
One day, we did a paper in Language Arts class (aka-English class) about ourselves and I shared this story with my friend. She shared it with another friend who had many nicknames as well. And thats how my nickname, chicken, was born!
Then, later in science class, I shared my nickname with the group I was working with, the girl that I had originally told happened to be in my group. Then it spread. I was called chicken by almost all my friends, especially the girl that was told by the person I originally told (sorry I got confusing, I'll get to their nicknames after).
Sadly, they didn't know what was coming to them, as within a few people, the nickname craze began (again, only a few people, as in like 4-7) These are their nicknames and how they got them (if they have a WattPad profile I will say their profile names, you can check them out if you want!):
1. Me-Chicken you know the profile-you already know the story
2. My Friend-aka RunningDog62-Chubacabra (she'll really appreciate me telling this *Note the sarcasm)-It was after a book I read called Chubacabra and she kinda just started being called that (mini lesson-I like putting things in parentheses as you probably can tell- a Chubacabra is a legend. It is supposed to be a creature that attacked humans but especially goats, I think the name means goat sucker).
3. The person I originally told-Luscious-named after her luscious hair, this was the Chubacabra's idea, as she loves attacking peoples hair.
4. Waffle-aka Mollie_wallace- I think she got her name because people were going around and making up food nicknames after the first letter in our last names.
