The next day Y/N pulled up to her apartment with Dua and Alycia with her.

"Are you ready?" Y/N asked Dua while putting the car in park.

"Yeah, I'm ready. Is everyone here?" Dua asked.

Y/N looked around the parking lot, making note of everyone's car, and she nodded. "Looks like it."

"Well, let's get this over with." Alycia said while opening the door and walking towards the stairs to the apartment.

"Someone's in a rush," Y/N mumbled while getting out, and Dua followed. The two caught up to Alycia and walked towards the apartment with her.

"You think they'll like me?" Dua questioned as Alycia unlocked the door.

"I think you've got a good chance of being likable," Alycia reassured before opening the door, and immediately being greeted by the rest of the group sitting in the living room.

Y/N walked towards her normal seat in the two person recliner, and Dua followed. After the two of them sat down, Y/N met everyone's questioning glances. Well, almost every ones.

"IS Y/N BACK?" Was the first thing Y/N heard, and when she turned her head she noticed her Cuban best friend quickly walking down the hall. When Camila noticed the girl beside Y/N she raised her eyebrow questioningly. "Who's thi-what the hell happened to your neck?" Camila cut herself.

"Oh this?" Y/N questioned while pointing towards the large cut on her throat, which was beginning to scar. "Just a little something. But this," Y/N then pointed to Dua. "Is our newest member, per her own request, Dua Lipa!"

"You requested to be in this?" Austin asked incredulously, causing Dua to shrug.

"The guys you're up against killed my father, and I'll do anything to take them down." She answered.

Alycia then chimed in. "Plus, she saved Y/N's life, so it's not like she'll be weighing Jay down."

"Saved Y/N's life?" Lucy asked from the couch across from Y/N.

Camila walked towards Lucy, sitting beside the girl and sighing before she began to speak again. "Is that how you got that cut on your throat?"

"Yeah, some guy was about to slit my throat, but Dua shot him and now she's here with us." Y/N explained nonchalantly.

"Well, she seems cool," Chris said while shrugging. "Welcome to hell, Dua."

"Are you sure your throat is okay?" Lucy asked Y/N later that night, as they were both laying in the recliner while watching reruns of Zoey 101.

Y/N shrugged before answering. "It hurt when it happened, but I don't feel it anymore. I just know it's there."

"I think everyone is gonna know it's there..." Lucy mumbled, but her eyes widened when she realized what she'd said. "I didn't mean it like tha-"

"Relax, Lucy," Y/N laughed out. "I get what you meant."

The shorter girl then sighed, leaning her head onto Y/N's shoulder and scooting closer to her. "Is Dua staying here?"

Y/N wrapped her arm around Lucy's waist before replying. "Yeah, I told her she could sleep in my bed for now, but I'm gonna buy another bed to put in the spare room."

"So, you guys are pretty close now?"

"Are you jealous, Vives?" Y/N questioned jokingly.

"Ha ha, you wish, Y/N." Lucy replied with a sarcastic tone. "I was just wondering."

"I'd say so. She did save my life," Y/N answered.

"I'm glad she saved your life," Lucy answered honestly.

"And why is that?" The taller girl asked.

Lucy shrugged. "I just feel safer when you're around. I can't really explain it."

"Well," Y/N began. "I'll be around for awhile, so you're always gonna be safe."

"Always?"

"Always."

The next day Y/N walked through the halls of Miami High determined to find Brad. After Y/N noticed Camila and Chris' injuries she asked who did it, and although she was relieved it wasn't someone dangerous, she wasn't going to let no lips get away with what he did. Especially after she found out he had had Lauren cornered to begin with.

It didn't take long to find the no lipped boy, and the Cobra walked towards Brad at a fast pace with menace in her eyes.

"BRAD SIMPSON!" Y/N exclaimed as she got closer, causing Brad's eyes to widen in fear as he quickly turned around. "I heard you were fucking with my friends."

"I don't know what you're talking about..." Brad attempted to lie, but the look Y/N shot him quickly made him change his words. "I mean, not your friends - just Lauren."

At this point a sizable crowd had formed around the two, and Y/N noticed Lauren to be one of the people amongst them. Lauren looked confused, as did everyone else.

Y/N stared at the British boy for a moment before choosing her words wisely. "Don't fuck with my best friend's sister, Bradley. We've been over this. You don't want to know what'll happen if you do it again." Y/N said in a tone of voice that had Brad practically shaking.

"O-okay," Brad said while stuttering over his words.

"Glad we had this talk," Y/N replied before walking away.

As the girl walked away she felt someone grab onto her arm, causing her to turn around and come face to face with piercing green eyes. "What was that?" Lauren questioned in a confused tone. "I thought you hated me."

The taller girl sighed before replying. "I could never hate you, Green Eyes," Y/N then walked off, leaving Lauren more confused than ever.

As Y/N walked towards Lucy's locker she sighed to herself. She didn't understand why she always fell for the people she couldn't have.

But she'd never really fallen for anyone until she met Lauren. It was just a crush, though. It would remain just a crush too. Lauren hated her, and there was really no way Y/N could fix that. Not while the Cobras still existed. Not while Y/N dated Lucy.

"Hey, babe," Y/N said while taking Lucy's books from her hands. "Are you ready for class?"

Lucy nodded yes before speaking. "You don't have to carry my books, Y/N."

This caused the taller girl to shrug. "I don't mind it. Anything for my girl," she replied with a wink.

Lucy just shook her off with a laugh, and the two girls began making their way towards Lucy's first period.

"Meeting today after school," Y/N said quietly while handing Lucy her books. She then pulled the shorter girl forward and kissed the top of her head. "Don't be late," she mumbled into Lucy's hair before walking away.

Lucy watched the other Cobra walk away before entering her class with a sigh.

As Y/N walked away she had a strange feeling in her gut. She'd almost call is a sixth sense. Something didn't feel right, especially after her dad had informed her of a meeting.

She was not looking forward to it.
