CHAPTER 3

"Haa~~~~" I give out a sigh. I am sitting on a chair at the kitchen while waiting for the water to boil. Mikami is changing in the bathroom. This is the first time I brought a guy into my house, so I'm quite restless. Now, how did things become like this...

(Flashback to the bridge)

Mikami and I walk up to the riverbank.

"Ah... I'm totally wet now... I can't ride the train like this..." said Mikami.

"Eh, you ride the train to school every day??" I ask

"Yeah, my house is quite far from here" said Mikami.

"What about you, Mizuoichi-senpai??" ask Mikami.

"Me? My house is just over there..." I said pointing towards the position of my house.

"Eh, it's so close!!! Can I go there too??" ask Mikami without any hesitation.

If you are an Asian man show some modesty, seriously he is thick headed...

"Sure I don't really mind..." I said.

"Really?? It won't be a bother to your parents??" said Mikami.

"My parents are out today, so I'm alone..." I said.

"Eh... you're parents are out??" said Mikami

"Yeah...they won't be back for today..." I answered.

"Then I'm sorry I won't trouble you then!!" said Mikami with a very red face.

"What are you talking about, you are the one who suggest this and now you're running away??" I said.

Mikami didn't say anything, his face is still red.

"You can't go home when you're this wet, so come to my house and change first before leaving. If not, you'll catch a cold." I said

"Then, sorry for intruding..." said Mikami with a red face.

(Back to present)

Ah.... I definitely didn't realize it. It's dangerous for a guy and a girl alone in a house!! How stupid of me!! I was even thick headed to bring him to my house without realizing all these facts!!!I think my head seriously hurts now!!

"Ka-cha!" the sound of the bathroom door opens. "Psssh....." the sound of the water boils is heard. I quickly stand up and pour the hot water into the mugs that is filled with chocolate powder. When the mugs are filled with water, I stir them. Then, I take the mugs in my hands and bring it upstairs. I can see Mikami is standing in front of my brother's room.

"Here Mikami, have a cup of hot chocolate..." I said

Mikami remain silent. He looked at my brother's room silently. My brother's room has lots of the archery equipment arranged at the corner; even my equipment is in there. The archery equipment is hidden behind the curtains. The thick dust is flying in the air. The archery uniform that is hanged by the wall, the curtains and the desk is also covered with a layer of dust. There are many stacks of books on the bed. Well, you can see that this room has not been used for years...

"Is this place where you keep all the archery equipment??" ask Mikami staring at my brother's room.

"No, it's my brother's room..." I replied.

Mikami notices the altar. He walks towards the altar and opens it. He then kneels down in front of the altar. His both hands are put together. He starts to pray. The atmosphere suddenly become really down. Suddenly, Mikami stands up. He pulls the curtain and opens the window.
