The sound of giggles and hushed whispers wakes me from a heavy and much needed sleep. I keep my eyes closed and try to go back to sleep before I hear Alice and Niall talk.

“Now we have something against them if they decide to try and publish our relationship.” Alice says.

Wait, what?

“Yeah, I doubt Liam would like the picture of him and Lois plastered all over the internet.”

So that’s what this is about. I open my eyes slightly and sure enough, me and Liam are cuddled closely together. Slight snores escape his perfect lips, while he has me in his reach, our bodies pressed as close together as possible in the cramped seats.

Without waking him I pull my phone out of my pocket, and slip the ear buds in settling on The Script, and pull open the addicting and frustrating, Flappy bird. I flap the bird and listen to ‘This = Love’ as a time waster. I look at the time, 8, and instantly know that we have an hour left on the flight.

I snuggle in closer to Liam, and play my phone some more before two familiar heads pop up and stare at me and Liam.

I laugh and shake my head at their ‘spying’ and go back to playing my phone while they laugh about being caught, and what they think I don’t know.

Liam finally wakes up about 30 minutes after I did, greeting me with a deep and half-awake voice.

“Hey.” He simply says. I pull out my ear buds to listen to him.

“Hi sleepy head.” I tell him back, earning an easy smile.

“How did you sleep?” he asks me.

“Fine,” I say, shooting him a smile, “how about you?”

He hums at me, and then whispers so that no roaming ears could hear, “Great, you’re so warm and soft.”
