It was any normal day. Matt got up, navigated his room, put clothes on, ate breakfast, brushed his teeth, and went to school. Only, today, he felt something special was gonna happen.
At the bus stop, he met up with Gabby, who was reading a book like usual. "Which one this time?" Matt sensed her presence, something he became accustomed to, and she replied, "The Fault in our Stars." Thomas smiled. He knew Gabby was one of the romance types, he never could put his finger on why, though. She sat beside him on the bench as Thomas ran up beside them, his football equipment rattling in his sports bag. "Hey Thomas," the two bench-sitters said without looking towards him. "Aw, come on. Why can't I ever sneak up on you guys." He frowned. Gabby looked up after finishing her paragraph at him, "Well, maybe start with losing some of the rattling and maybe we won't hear you." she smirked as she looked back to the book. They waited for Tanner, who was fashionably late as always, nearly missing the bus every time. They all climbed into the large yellow vehicle and rode off to school.
