The next day at school, he heard someone begin to walk up to him. Kelly... He knew his footsteps from anywhere. He was with Gabby so she couldn't do much to defend him. He felt a hand grab his shirt. "Looks like the little blind rat found a girlfriend." Gabby got between the attacker and Matthew. "Leave him alone." Kelly snapped his attention from Matt to her, clenching his fist. "And what are you gonna do about it?" A grin with evil intent crawled across his face as Matt heard something be thrown against the locker metal. Gabby. Just then, he heard her slump to the floor in pain as someone yelled "Hey!" Thomas. Matt heard a smack followed by a thud as Kelly hit the ground in front of him. Kelly's friends ran off as Matt reach down for Gabby, picking her up off the ground. "Are you ok?" Matt had nothing but pure concern in his voice. Thomas ran down to the two victims and made sure they were both ok. "I'm fine. Nothing but a scratch." Gabby gripped her side where she hit the locker. The three continued on with their days and didn't see Kelly the rest of it.
