"Wanna' Skip?" He asked me, tilting his head and showing off his bright blue eyes in the sun. "I can see how uncomfortable you are." I rolled my eyes. "Remember," He continued. "YOLO!” I frowned.
I know that going with him will be a mistake, I thought. I looked into the class room. But I can deal with Nathan way more than these guys. I looked up at James, who seems to be having fun seeing me like this. His smirk grew bigger every time I looked up at him.
"Fine," I sighed. "But not because of the 'YOLO' stuff. I just..." I looked down and whispered. "I don't want to stay here.”
"Whatever you say, Princess." He grabbed my arm tightly, making me flinch, and dragged me down the hall as fast as he could.
"Why here?" I asked. "Of all places, we come here." He rolled his eyes.
"Would you like to go back?" He asked me in an annoyed tone. I glared at him but sucked up and didn't fight back. Something in my gut told that he was somewhat serious and I would have never survive going to detention.
"Sorry," I said. "But the auditorium seems like a strange place to hide out.”
"Why's that?" He asked. "Well," I began explaining. "If we don't want to get caught wouldn't you want to go someplace people rarely go?”
"It'll make us look suspicious." He said. "Going somewhere that people don't go would make you seem like your hiding something because you're so place no one ever goes to. If you go somewhere people come they'll just think you're a normal here or something like that." I blinked.
Another smart thing! I thought surprised. Why can't he act like that all the time?
"Hey," He said, breaking my thoughts. “Princess. What's your real name?" He asked.
"You're kidding me!"
"No really. What's your name?"
"Kristine."
"Kristine?"
"Yeah." I said annoyed. "I spent the whole day with you and you don't know my name!?".
"They call you Miss Helen. I never heard your first name." He lifted his head up from the arm rest in the chair. I shook my head and chuckled.
"Well," I said. "You know now.". I saw that arrogant smirk appear on his face once more. I looked him straight in the eye. Seeing that always means something bad. To think, I found that out in One day.
"Hey, Kristine." He smugly said. He got closer to me. "Ya know when your alone with an guy stuff can happen.”
"The hell does he mean?" I thought.
"You seem disturbed." He said, keeping that smirk on his face and his blue eyes given me an uncomfortable stare. “If you want I can help you feel a little bit more... comfortable.". I shook my head no and closed my eyes.
“No I'm---" He grabbed my arms, startling me and making me leave me sentence incomplete. I opened my eyes and saw his blues eyes so close, I could see my confused reflection. Then, I realized what was going on.
"Please! No, Don't" Was all I could think.
My lips felt as warm as he pushed me down in the seats. He had.... really soft lips. He pushed his weight onto me, holding me down and into his arms.
"I can't take this." I shouted and the next thing I knew, James was one the ground. He Hand a surprised face; something I thought I'd never see. He held his face which was so red it almost matched the crimson chairs around us. "Wh-" My hand started stinging.
Did I..., I thought. I slapped him! He got up and moved towards me. I cowered and he stared at me even more surprised than before.
"Princess," His hoarse voice said. "Was this.... your first?" I could hear the shock within his words.
"Yes, you jackass!" I shouted. I rose to my feet, turning my back from his direction and he walked up to me with quickness.
"You must be kidding me," He said. "I mean you'r---".
"Just shut up!" I shouted.
Why am I yelling? I thought. I shook off my thought and turned to him.
"Just," I said. "Don't speak to me!" I pushed him away and ran out as fast as I could. "That was so embarrassing!" Was all I could think.
"Why did he kiss me anyway!?"
