Chapter 7: Team Critter

Finally, it was english class. Funny enough our teacher decided to assign a newspaper article to work on, so the interview we did yesterday was actually going to come in handy. Charlotte had just came into the room, Amber, Jordan and I exchanged a glance. We all knew the plan and it was about to be executed. During the work portion of the period we were allowed to sit where we wanted. As we planned we all sat near Charlotte.

It started off normally, us working on things, chatting about others. Halfway through it was time.

"So, Charlotte, your last name's O'Doherty right?" Amber asked.

"Yeah, I thought you knew that already." Charlotte answered.

"For the article that we have to write, Amber, Victoria and I interviewed our siblings and their co-workers. It turned out there was someone with your last name." Jordan said with a small smile.

"O-oh? Really? What's his name?" Charlotte asked shakily.

"His name happens to be Seamus." I answered. "Ring any bells?" Charlotte blushed and looked down at the table. We had done it.

"Sooooo." Jordan said.

"Yeah. I know him." Charlotte said quietly. "He's my brother." I smiled and giggled.

"Yes! I knew it was you from the moment I met you!" Amber said excitedly.

"Really? How?" Charlotte responded.

"You guys act very similar. Maybe not on the sarcasm part, but everything else, you're identical." Amber replied.

"Wait, if you said that you guys interviewed your siblings, then." Charlotte started to say.

"Yup! Our bro's are part of the creatures!" I replied.

"Let me guess, Eddie right?" Charlotte asked.

"You bet!" I replied.

"Thought so, you guys act so alike. And your?" Charlotte said gesturing to Jordan.

"James." He replied calmly.

"Mine's Kootra." Amber added on.

"Are there any others at the school?" Charlotte asked.

"We think all but Ze has a sibling here. Want to join us?" I asked. Charlotte nodded her head and Jordan gave her a high five.

"Welcome to team Critter." Jordan said.

"Team Critter?" I questioned.

"Yeah, they call their fans the critters after all, so why can't we be Team Critter?" Jordan replied.

"Sounds good to me." Amber said. I nodded in agreement.

"I'll try to work on one during tech. It might take a while." I said.

"Good, now about that newspaper article." Amber started to say.

In Tech Class..

I sat down beside Matt once again and he smiled.

"Hey." I said.

"Hey, ready to do some actual woodworking today?" He asked.

"You bet, it's going to be fun I think." Matt gave me a warm smile and we !waited for our teacher to start the class. Eventually we made our way down to the woodshop and I was in the second group to be taught on the machines, along with Matt and Jordan. We were taught on what they called a band saw, a miter saw and the sanders. When we made our way back up to the classroom, a loud, alarming sound came over the announcements.
