Percy:

I pulled myself up on the pier, ignoring the strange glances I recieved from everyone walking down it. Thankfully, my clothes were still perfectly dry. I sent a mental thank you to my father for my 'only gets wet if I want to get wet' abilities. One of the many helpful things that came with being the son of Posiden.

Speaking of thank you, I made a mental note to find some way to thank all the nymphs and dryads that helped me escape the prison of Pontus, where gods know what he was going to do with me.

The plan, carefully thought out by Alli, actually ended up working perfectly. It was the first good luck I've had in months, thank the gods. (Not that they had anythign to do with it.)

I arose early this morning, and was led by the two guards to go stand, or, rather, float, before Pontus, which was according to the guards 'a great honor' before I was executed to provoke Posiden and cause him to do something irrational.

Mid route, Alli rushed into the path of the guards, swooning and batting her eyes, begging them to come help her hurt sister. I swear, that girl, sorry, nymph, must have some serious charmspeaking skills, seeing the way the guards handed me over to her friend and rushed off after her. After that, it was only a matter of slipping out the underwater courtyard, and getting far enough away before my absence was noted. The last step was easy, courtesy of my own personal underwater current.

I looked back only for a second, when I was at a safe distance away, to see the underwater city dissapear, the Mist kicking in to prevent it from being visible. I won't forget you, Alli. I thought as I swam away.

I walked around the city, bustling with tourists, trying desprately to find a map or even a place. The people here clearly did not speak English, and when I spoke in greek they tilted their heads, confused, and walked away.

I finally stumbled upon a sign in greek, probably just meant for the sake of the tourists who wanted to see real culture wherever they went, that read Lemons ruins.

Lemnos... I guessed I was on the island of Lemnos right now. That sounded farmiliar, from class at Camp Half-Blood maybe? Im sure Annabeth would know...

Annabeth!

I patted my pockets frantically, searching for a single drachma I could send an Iris message to them with. Nothing. Where could I possibly get one? Its not like any would be lying around, except maybe in.. The ruins? There must be some ties to Ancient Greece there, the sign was in greek. That had to mean something, right?

I picked my way through crowds of tourists, trying to follow the single arrow I was given towards the so called ruins. After miles of walking in the hot sun, I reached I tiny, wooden sign, with peeling painted letters barely making out 'famous ruins of Lemnos'. I looked around at the beach in front of me, and shook my head and the few chunks of deteriorating stone. What a waste of a walk.

Hoping to rejuvenate my energy, I plopped down where the sand met the cool ocean, and ran my hands through the sand and rocks. If it was just me on this beach, I could go underwater for a while, clear my head, maybe even tell if the Argo II was close by. But in the distance, I could make out 3 teenagers surfing, and knew if they were by any chance watching me, they could freak out, and a big scene was the last thing I wanted. I was so exhausted I doubted I could even control the mist.

My fingers continued to shape the sand, and I closed my eyes, widened my awareness, trying to see if there were any sea creatures that knew the whereabouts of my friends. I sent a mental message over the water.

Hello? Its Me, Percy Jackson. If any of you have seen a big, brown ship, possibly flying, or can pass a message along for me, please help. I really need to find my friends.

Suddenly, my fingers hit something hard in the water, much harder than the rock and sand around it. I grasped it like it was my lifeline, and pulled it out, grinning.

"Thanks, Dad." I whispered, as I tucked the Drachma into my pocket. It was probably just guilt from my almost-death at Pontus's hand, but hey, I'll take what I can get.

The long hike back into town was slightly less tiring, now that I had a mission in mind. I stood in front of the tiny fountain centered in Lemnos square, and threw the coin into the mist.

"Oh, Iris, godess of the rainbow, show me the Argo II."

I waited, praying, unti the mist shifted and I was met with the common room on the Argo II. I looked around, hoping to see Annabeth, but everyone must have been above deck, or asleep. I cursed myself for not asking for a more specific scene, or a single person. Posiden had given me a gift, and I wasted it.

I looked around the room, desperate for someone to walk in before the image faded, but no such luck. As the mist in front of me warped again, something against the back wall, that was not there the last time I was on the ship. A map, with a large circle on an island, a star on... What mountain was that?

No matter. The thing that caught my eye was the places on the path marked inbetween those. One, I guessed was Troy. The second, clear as day, marked the island of Lemnos.

I just hoped they got here soon...
