Annabeth:

I walk out onto the deck, black spots clouding my vision until my eyes adjust to the dazzling brightness of the ocean all around us, and the stunning island in front of us. Lemnos. Of course, I knew all the mythology surrounding this island.

This was where Hephestaus fell from Olympus, and set up his first forge. I made a mental note to tell Leo of that in case we needed anything. This was also the island where Philocetes was abandoned by his fellow greeks fleeing to Troy. In this case, however, we were going away from Troy, storming into the very heart of the enemy. I couldn't help but shudder. In less than 48 hours, we would be at the base of Gaea's domain.

Leo interrupted my thoughts, running onto the deck, panting for air. "Everything OK?" I asked. His hair was smoking, and the scent of slightly burnt metal was in the air. He held up a single thumb, then ran across the deck, grabbed a fire extinguisher, and dissapeared again.

I shook my head, smiling slightly. Leo was the most ADHD demigod I had ever met, but he certainly got the job done, and was one of the most skilled engineers I had ever worked with. Hazel and Frank appeared on the deck, followed by Jason and Piper. As I watched the two pairs talk softly to each other, I could'nt help but feel a twinge of jelousy peirce my heart. After all Percy and I had been through, we still couldn't catch a break, not even for a few weeks.

The Argo II had landed in the ocean, and we were headed towards the beach, containting a slightly crumbling dock and a few tourists walking around the dock. We were all gathered on the deck now, Festus on auto-dragon, as Leo had dubbed it, when the ship speed up, gliding effortlessly through the water as if we had landed upon the worlds strongest current. Heading straight towards the dock. And on the end of the dock, a teenage boy with dark hair, and a soft smile, his hands raised, his legs swinging on the edge.

Whoops break out from the other demigods, and a grin a mile wide breaks out across my face. I climb onto the prow of the ship, and watch his face, and I feel a tear slip out of the corner of my eye at seeing him, alive and whole. Finally, the ship a mere ten feet away from him, I can't stand it any longer, and Percy knows it.

He stands, and a pillar of water forms between the ship and the dock. I hesitantly touched the surface with the edge of my foot, and it supported my weight, like ice without the cold. Less then a second later, I was sprinting the length of the pillar, and slipped at the last second, crashing into Percy, bringing us both down, me on top of him. I had a brief flashback of our previous reunion, judo flipping Percy in front of the entire Roman army. That had been a bit spontaneous, but no one attacked me, so all things considered, it went pretty well.

Apparently, Percy was thinking the same. "Why do our reunions always end with you pinning me down?" He asked, his amazing voice like music to my ears. He didn't wait for a response, instead pulled me down into a long kiss. Moments later, we hear Leo's classic voice, "My eyes!" And then Pipers sweet voice, "Oh, can it Leo! We all know what you did with Calypso."

"Calypso?" Percy asked, getting up. I sat on the deck for a second, before pulling myself up after him. The rest of our friends were gathered around him, hugging him and clapping him on the back. The only one who stood a little to the side was Calypso. He pulled away from the group, and Leo went to grab her. "Percy, man, you remember Calypso, right?" No one said anything for a few seconds. "Yeah." Percy said stiffly. He eyed her again, until Piper saved the silence from consuming us. "Let's go grab some lunch!"

This would be fun.
