CHAPTER 3 PART 1

"Wassup Ma." Jason said as he bit his bottom lip and looked me up and down. He was always trying to get with me but, his reputation with the ladies was not one to applaud. He was only one of the many boys who tried to get with me. It wasn't always like that though.

"What do you want Jason? The party is in the backyard." I said pointing to the sliding doors that led to the backyard.

"Ma why you acting like that. You know I been feeling you since I met you." He said as he walked closer to me trying to close the gap between us. I quickly closed the fridge after grabbing my soda and walked to the other side of the kitchen island.

"Yeah I know and I told you it would never happen." I had to give it to him he was persistent but it would never happen. He did too much for me.

"Psh we will see about that Ma." He said winking at me then walking out the kitchen toward the hall. I walked outside. The backyard was beautifully decorated with coconuts, tassels, and all sorts of colorful decorations giving it the feel of a real Hawaiian luau.

I began to look for an open pool chair, preferably my favorite chair, the one across from the house in the shade near the small Jacuzzi that accompanied the in-ground pool. I looked around for a while then I found it. There was nobody in it. I began to walk toward it when I heard my friend calling me.

"Damn girl!! Let me get some of that booty though!" Aria yelled as she walked toward me tugging me into a tight embrace then grabbing my butt as she pulled away. She has an obsession with my butt and I think she has a crush on TyTy but she won't admit it. Oh well what am I going to do.

"Aye aye! I know you're obsessed with my butt but you feeling me up and scaring away my future husband." I said as I glared at her.

"Haha but its soo big! Like DAMN it's sitting out there like two big ol' balloons." She said back making me burst out laughing.

"You a trip Aria. Where do you come up with this?"

"Bhahaha I get it from my momma. Anyway how's this summer break treating you so far?"

"You wouldn't believe who I ran into at the mall before I came here!"

"Who you saw at the mall?"

"Trina and Maliyah beat the shit out of her."

"Oh shit! Trina been asking for an ass whooping since y'all stopped talking. That stank ass hoe. But why Maliyah beat her up?"

"You know Maliyah don't play that when she gets called out her name. Trina called her a Thot and she pounced on the bitch and beat her up. You know I was getting my hits in too until security came and took us all to they lil trailer looking station. She tried to press charges on us but they somehow got dropped and I'm thankful for that." I told Aria.

"Well damn! Maliyah don't like that shit. I won't ever call her a Thot!"

"Word though. I'll see you around Aria. A girl gotta go claim her beach chair." I said before turning to walk toward my chair.

I was thanking God at that point that not a lot of people were here yet. I walked to my chair and before I could sit down I felt a strong muscular body press against my back.

I immediately knew it was my boo thang, Kingston. I know you want to know why I'm not with King, but call him my boo thang. I'm going to just put it like this shit happens.

"Hey boo." I said turning toward him hugging him.

"Wassup babygirl?" He said back as he dipped his head to kiss my lips.

I turned my face before our lips touched making him kiss me on the corner of my mouth and cheek. He looked at me and I couldn't read the expression on his face, it was a cross between hurt and understanding.

"What's the matter with you?" He said to me with a now confused expression on his face. I don't know how to tell him I don't want him kissing me.

I know I sound harsh saying I don't want him kissing me but you don't know the half so, don't judge me. I don't want to get into the details right now but the Kingston of today wasn't always like this.

This Kingston is kind, considerate, and honest. The old Kingston was stubborn, an asshole, and didn't know what he wanted.

"Oh nothing. Just thinking." I said which was only a half lie because I am thinking.

He looked at me and pouted as he grabbed my hands.

"Oh well I saw you from the other side of the yard so I just came over to say hi." He said before giving me a hug and a kiss on the cheek then walking back to where he was with his friends.

I sat down in my chair and observed the yard. There was a lot of people here. TyTy's cousins came and he invited all our closest friends. This is going to be the best start to summer ever.

I sat there sipping on my soda until Maliyah came busting out the house with two of TyTy's cousins, one on each arm.

This girl is a trip. She stay flirting with TyTy cousins knowing they just want to smash. See my twin and I are identical physically but when it comes to our actions we are two totally different people but, no matter what we got each other's backs.

I'm that girl you would classify the goody two shoes. You won't ever catch me cutting class, doing drugs, or fucking in the staircase. I just don't roll like that.

I got kicked out of Thot Academy for being to classy. I take my life seriously and defy the odds where necessary.

Maliyah on the other hand you wont find her fucking in a staircase or any of that but she's a little more wild than me she can be a tease sometimes but she is a very intelligent girl. In school, she is that trouble maker but she gets all A's so she just bored and acts out in class.

It's funny because none of her teachers like her but they can't deny her the grade because she does do her work. You would think they could just move her to a higher level class yeah they tried that but there is no controlling my sister.

Well back to this. When she walked out all eyes were on her. She loved it. Her bathing suit was this beautiful purple with skirt to match. She walked over and took the seat next to me.

"Thank you Rashawn and Vonte." She said shooting them her signature smile.

When they walked away she turned toward me. "You see those two fine pieces of chocolate right there? You need to get you one of them and leave Kingston trifling ass alone."

"I know Maliyah but I don't know how to tell him I need something new and revitalizing. Something or someone who doesn't suck the happiness out of my life and bring it back to my life when they want to." I said with a lot of conviction.

"You just told me. So you can tell him too. Ayo Kingston come here!!"

This girl always starting shit. Damn! She gonna make me tell him how I feel and I can't get out of it. She's not going to let this go until I tell him. This is ridiculous!

I mean I was going to tell him tomorrow........ Well maybe not tomorrow but eventually. Ugh! It would make me feel so much better but I wanted to tell him on my own.

"Damn Maliyah why did you do that?!"

"You know you were never going to do it. If I didn't do it then it won't ever get done."

"Ugh!" I hate when she is right.
