Arin and Dan have been dating for a couple months now. They have been really quiet about it, only telling Ross and Suzy about their "dirty little secret." Dan knew his parents wouldn't really care, but he didn't know about Arin's parents.They were a little bit edgier when it came to homosexuality and all that stuff. Danny brought up coming out to them a few times, but Arin knew it would just be a bad idea.
It was hard trying not to make out in the middle of the hallway at school without being questioned. Plus, they go to a school with a bunch of asshole nazis anyway, so whatever. They graduate high school soon, only in a month or two. Senioritis is totally killing both of them, but they are just happy they have each other.
Most people in relationships tend to be very quickly paced, but Arin and Danny are planning on taking it slow. They slap each others ass of course, who wouldn't, but... sex? Nah. Not yet. They are too shy. Too scared. They haven't really asked about it, but they have definitely thought about it. Danny is more of a romantic kid, too scared to come out of his shell. But why?
"Hey, dude." Said Arin to Danny as they were chilling on the couch watching TV.
"Yes dear?" said Danny.
"I've noticed you're a little bit... anxious? You always ask me for permission for everything, and I don't want you to think that i'm the pants of the relationship. You don't have to always ask what I want, I love you Dan."
Danny blushed a bit. He never really noticed what he says. He never noticed that he would talk to Arin like he's a dominant figure in the relationship.
"I'm sorry, hon. I know you care about me." Said Danny, curling into Arin.
Arin rans his fingers through Dan's hair, silently breathing for a few minutes.
"I think we should come out at school"
Dan opened his eyes wide, "why? don't you know your parents will find out somehow?"
Arin nodded, a single tear falling from his eye, Dan wiping it with the sleeve of his sweater. "We really don't have to, if they make you feel like you can't live your own life." Arin bit his tongue, "but Danny, I want to. I want us to be happy without having to hide it. I want us to be.... us."
Arin grabbed Dan's hand and closed his eyes, taking a deep breath.

The next day in class Dan was taking notes, worried about his grades because he was bullshitting everything. The teacher was going through a slideshow being boring. One guy was asleep in the back. The bell rang and everyone blasted awake, grabbed their shit and ran out the door.
In the five minutes of free time between classes Danny was texting on his phone, totally distracted. He ran into the back of this really big kid named Mark, who was pretty short but had some thick arms.
Danny looked up from his phone really fast, "Oh sorry man, I was just-" Before Dan could finish his sentence, Mark grabbed Danny's phone and threw it behind him. "Don't fuck with me, you stupid jew." Dan instantly broke into a cold sweat, and before he could think he yelled "A-Arin!!!"
Mark laughed, "What are you gonna do, call your little boyfriend? You little fa-" Mark was suddenly punched in the side of his head, being knocked into the locker beside him. Arin grabbed Dan's arm and ran away from the scene. Pictures were being taken, people were laughing, some watching in horror. Mark's growling could be heard from a mile away.
Arin and Dan ran around the corner and hid in a stall in the men's bathroom. Dan was sobbing profusely, covering his face with his hands. "A-Arin I j-just ran into h-him I didn't mean-" Arin held Dan, shushing him affectionately. "It's okay Dan it's not your fault. We can wait in here until it dies down, don't worry."
The bathroom door flew open. "Where are you?? I'm going to kill you!" Arin held Dan tightly. He whispered, "I have an idea."
Arin looked over the stall and saw Mark looking in the corners of the bathroom and in the stalls. Arin felt himself snap. He knocked the bathroom stall door down with his foot, making a clunking sound on the ground. Mark flung around, his fist in the air. Arin ducked, picked up the door, and knocked Mark right in the chest, knocking him over.
Dan couldn't believe what he saw, because he could barely see anything at all. His vision became blurry, and the last thing he remembered was a teacher coming into the bathroom.
