                  Comfort her

They'll always remember the secrets that lay in room 93, once it's happened, it can't be erased. Colby Brock is the king, Darcy Jones is his queen and they'll tear Badlands down until it's only dust in their hands.

Darcy looked through the window of her room, watching over the empty roads. It was seven and the sun spilled over the clouds, forming the perfect aesthetic.

Colby sat on his bed, arms dangling from his knees. He sighed as His mother fought for the guy to stay, Colby's door opened and his mother stumbled in grasping a whiskey bottle in her right hand "Hm Shouldn't you be with your friends?" She stirred and took another gulp of whiskey, Colby looked up at her coldly "shouldn't you be running after your 'daddy'?" He smirked and watched as his mother stumbled out of the doorway.

Darcy sighed and got up, going over to her desk and picking up the Polaroid camera that laid there for God knows how long, stuffing it into her backpack and other stuff she may need and headed downstairs where Charlie was sleeping on the couch beer bottle in hand.

She slowly opened the door as the fresh air hit her face, Sam was sitting up against the fence texting Katrina. He looked up and waved at Darcy, Sam noticed the bag and pulled his hand out in front of her "Where are you going?" He raised his eyebrows and slipped his phone into the back pocket of his ripped skinny jeans, Darcy folded her arms and tapped her foot against the pathway "I'm going to a party...can I burrow your bike?" She pouted, Sam scratched his head and sighed "Alright, but be back by eleven mkay?" She nodded and hopped on his bike, before pedaling down the road, past Colby's window.

The small party was held on the beach, the host, Gabbie, invited all the girls in her year to come along and drink or just chat. When Darcy arrived, Gabbie and the other girls all had a beer from the cooler and sat up on the hood of Liza's car, it was nine fifteen when a car of five men parked a few parking spaces from them. "Hey Gabbie, who are they?" Darcy pointed to the men approaching them, "No idea" Gabbie passed her beer to Liza and walked up to them "Hey there, What are you hot chicks doing here all alone?" The front guy smirked, Darcy gulped and got off the hood stepping away from the scene.

Darcy turned and bumped into a hooded guy, She gasped oh shit
The guy grabbed her by the hair, pulling her to the floor but before he could do anything one of the girls punched him to the ground, it was Liza..

"RUN DARCY! GET HELP NOW!" Darcy stumbled onto her feet, lifting up her bike and hopping on it she biked down the road onto the road to her house, once she arrived she dropped the bike, running to the door "SAM!" She screamed "COREY!" Darcy choked on her own tears "ELTON!" Her voice broke the last time "COLBY!"

The door opened and out came the four of them, Sam was the first to react, hugging her tightly and stroking her hair. She pulled back after a while and took a deep breath "It's Gabbie and the others, some guys are trying to- trying to-" Darcy struggled with words and broke into more fits of crying, Sam went back into the house and grabbed a blanket, Corey pulled out his phone asking where they are and called the police once he had the information.

"Darcy, You're okay, it's okay." Colby tucked some strands of  hair behind her ear and rubbed her back, Darcy leant into Colby which he brought his arms around her, hugging her lightly and rubbing up and down her back.

Corey hung up with the police after telling the lady the information "They're on their way now, they'll be fine Darcy, I promise." Darcy nodded, her face buried in Colby's shirt.
Sam came out with a blanket and draped it around her shoulders before kissing her on the forehead, Elton went back inside and brought out some blankets and pillows. "Hey, you like star-gazing right?" Colby spoke softly, lifting her chin up and making eye contact with her. She nodded in which he took her hand "Wanna star-gaze with me?" He smiled at her when Darcy nodded and sniffed.

Colby lay down on the pile of blankets and pillows, giving Darcy some space as she looked up at the stars "Thank you" She managed to croak out while still looking at the sky, Colby looked over and admired her face "You're welcome, I used to always do this with my dad before he ran away with some shit woman" Darcy smiled and looked over at him "Do you miss him?" She asked Colby whom was peacefully staring at her, He shook his head "Not anymore, I don't care about him." She turned back to the sky "I miss my dad whenever he's drunk" He sighs and places his hand down on the blanket that he layed on, but it actually wasn't the blanket. Darcy took Colby's hand and squeezed it "It's a shame that this place is so filled with bad things." Colby agreed and squeezed her hand back.

"Dude, I literally ship the hell out of them" Corey, Elton and Sam looked through the window as Colby and Darcy watched the stars. "Let's do a bet, If they get together in the end I'll pay you 100 bucks" Elton brought his hand out for Corey to shake, Corey shake his hand "Deal", Sam rolled his eyes and sat up on the counter "Elton you're gonna lose your money-" Sam chuckled and took a sip of his tea, Elton shook his head "You'll see, I bet they won't. They hardly know each other" Corey groaned "Dude look at them! They're love struck!"

They all laughed, Sam looked through the window and looked at the stars "We'll see about that."
