Seven

Quiet

All I am, is a man. I want the world, in my hands. I hate the beach but I'll stand, in California with my toes in the sand.

The loud thumping sound of a suitcase echoed down the stairs as Darcy hopped down the stairs, Sam stopped at the bottom his left eyebrow rising. "Where do you think you're going?" He rests his hands on his hips.

Darcy giggled "Colby invited me to go on a roadtrip with him" Sam grinned and nodded "Where you heading to?" He asked, Darcy sighed "California, We're getting a train ride out of here and then we'll hire a car for our trip!" She explained in which Sam chuckled "Is this a way of saying you're going to run away with him?" Darcy blushed and shook her head "No! I wish though, he told me he'll be here in fifteen minutes."

Darcy took her suitcase to the front and sighed "Well, I have a whole week with him." She mumbled, Sam wrapped an arm around her shoulder "it's not like you're leaving forever, Dar. Just come back to this suburb safe mkay?" Sam rested his chin on her head.

Darcy smiled when she saw Colby pull up on his bike with a small wagon tied to the back, holding his suitcase. They both hugged as Sam came up behind them, "call me if something's wrong, okay?" Sam said, patting Darcy's back. She groaned "everything will be fine Sammy" Colby and Sam chuckled at her reply, Colby took her suitcase and pulled it onto the wagon. Sam snickered and Colby pulled the middle finger at him "No judge, Sam Golbach. I'm poor like your filthy ass" Sam raised his hands in mock surrender, Colby raised an eyebrow before getting on his bike. Darcy climbed on as well, wrapping her arms around his waist.

"Well see ya Sam" They both said, laughing at each other. Sam waved as they rode off to the train station.

While they were sitting at the station, Colby and Darcy planned in a notebook the things they would do and where they would go. "How do you have the money for all of this?" Darcy asked Colby, kneeling on the concrete floor as She wrote in the notebook as the seat was support.
Colby brought out his Mother's credit card and wiggled it around "Well, Let's just say..I borrowed my Mother's card" He smirked as Darcy covered her mouth "Oh my gosh Colby" He laughed "She literally has millions of dollars on here! come on! we can do whatever we want!" He whined and put the card back into his wallet. Darcy gave in "Eh whatever, as long as i get Sushi then i'm fine" She finishes writing the list of things and places before passing the notebook back to Colby. He grinned "We can go to all the sushi places you want, Dar" She looked up from playing with her black nails to his ocean eyes, She skipped "Really?" He nodded "Oh my yes! I love you so much right now!" She jumped on him, hugging him tight but not to tight to kill him. 

Colby's heart fluttered at their skin contact, Darcy giggled and pulled away still on his lap. They stared at each other quietly, Their lips oh so close. Colby leaned in but stopped when the honk of the train came close. Darcy hopped off his lap and grabbed her suitcase before turning back to him as He was standing. "Ready?" Colby asked her, She chuckled "Ready." They both gathered all their stuff and got onto the train.

Would this be a trip to remember? or would this be something to forget?
