'What....?' That's the only logical thought that could come in my head as I anyalyed the scene. Nothing my was moving, everything was just.... frozen. "Oscar." I was broken out of my trance by a surprised voice. I turned around to see ozpin, he looked just shocked as I was "Oscar are you alright?"

I felt like i couldn't answer that until I figured out what the hell was happening "w...what is this?" My voice was more shaky than I would have preferred it to be. He opened his mouth to answer me but something behind me seemed to grab his attention. When I turned slightly to see what he was starring at I felt my heart drop to my stomach. "Ruby..." the grim that had Ben attacking me was mere inches away from ruby, she was reaching to pull out her synth but It looked like she wouldn't have pulled it out in time. I tried to get up help her, but when I tried everything started to slowly move again. The grim looked like it was slightly closer to ruby. "Oscar stop!" I flenched when I heard ozpin yell. It was rare that he raise his voice since he's always spoke so calmly. If he didn't have my attention before he does now. "W-what, do you expect me to let her get hit?" I practically yelled but I didn't make a move to get up, "no but you can't be reckless in this situation, if you make any sudden movements she will get hit." His voice went back to a normal volume but it was still sharp and firm. "Wait what?" I asked still in Belief "Oscar, if you want to help her you need to do exactly as I say alright?" I paused for a moment then nodded. "Alright, I want you to think about what just happened, How ruby just pushed you, more specifically the feeling of your movements as you were falling, then you need to focus as hard as you can on reversing those movements."

As confused as I was I tried my hardest to do as I was told. I focused on the feeling of falling in reverse, when I suddenly felt like I was being picked up by a invisible force, like I was falling backwards. I was back on my feet, but my first thought wasn't how that happened, it was if ruby was still ok. I looked towards ruby, when I noticed the grim was further away from her. I looked over to ozpin for a answer. He was smiling "good oscar, now I need you to run to mrs rose as fast as you can and push her out of the way." I was a little confused considering that he told me not to make any sudden movements a moment ago. He must have sensed my confusion because he added "I didn't want you to move before because the grim was to close to her, if you had ran at her the grim would have reached her before you would." He explained." I wanted to question what he was saying but I didn't really care at the moment, I just wanted that grim to get the hell away from ruby "o-okay so what do I have to do, just run?" "I asked still slightly confused "yes but there's more to it than the that, I want you to slow down the grim by focusing on the world around you, remember when you got up and everything started to move slowly again?" I nodded "you need to imagine the world around you moving slowly, but when you start running you can't Lose focus on that ok?" He asked making sure that I was following him. "Y-yes." I was remembering the feeling of when I started to get up, it was only for a second but when I moved everything started to move at a slow pace again, kinda like Malaysia. "Ready?" Ozpin asked me intently. I nodded again and started running towards ruby. Malaysia Malaysia Malaysia, I thought trying to focus on that slow feeling around me, I think it's helping . The grim was moving towards her again slowly. I looked over towards Nora, ren, and Jaune again and they were moving at the same speed of the grim. I also that qrow and yang had started running towards ruby to help her but by the looks of it he wouldn't of made it. I turned my attention back to ruby the grim was close but I could make it if I hurried. I lounged towards her but when I did I forgot about making everything move slowly. I could feel everything move back to normal speed when I could feel Ruby's shoulders on my hands as I pushed her out of the way. I landed on top of her on the ground. We held onto each other, expecting the grim to pounce on us at any moment, but all we felt was a gust of wind, and the sound of something getting sliced and gunshots. We turned to see what had happened. We saw qrow and yang on top of the ursa, it looked like it was dead. I felt a huge wave of relief. Qrow was panting and turned to us then gave me a dirty look, I was confused at first but then I realized....I was still on top of ruby. I nervously looked down at her. She was looking up at me with a surprised expression on her face, I could automatically feel my face and ears heat up. "S-sorry!" I yelped as leaped of if her."she didn't seem register why I was so flustered about because she looked confused. she did however seem to slowly realize what just happened because she gave me a grateful expression." Why the heck are you so embarrassed you saved me!?" She exclaimed "h-Hugh...o-oh well I wouldn't really call it saving you." I said nervously. "Are you kidding me?" Yang Asked she was right in front of us now, apparently she had walked over to us while we were talking, qrow was behind her. She reached her hands out to help us up. We both grabbed her hand and she pulled us up with...a surprising amount of strength. "You totally saved Ruby's butt." Yang said with a chuckle. "That was awesome !!!" Nora yelled. The other team seemed to kill there grim aswell and made there way to us."So that's your semblance." Ren said sounding interested . I opened my mouth to ask what he meant when I suddenly felt a wave of dizziness wash over me. "Hey kid are you alright?" Qrow asked "he looks kinda pale." Jaune stated with concern. I could barley register what they were saying, my vision was blurring and there voices sounded like we were in a tunnel. "Oscar?" Ozpin asked with a equal amount of concern in his voice. He was the only one that I could hear clearly, probably because his voice was in my head. I suddenly felt something dripping from my nose. "Oscar your bleeding." Ruby said looking and sounding really worried. I held my hand up to the bottom of my nose, when I brought it down I saw that my hand had blood on it. My legs suddenly felt like they couldn't support my weight and I collapsed. I could feel ruby catch me as she dropped to the ground so I could lay down. There were gasps amount the group of hunters as I watched them huddle around me. Qrow hunched down along with ruby. "Oscar are you ok?" Ruby asked sounding panicked. I couldn't answer my vision was getting darker. among the group of faces I saw ozpin who looked just as worried, if not more so, than the others. "O-ozpin...." I could hear myself mutter as I started to blackout. "Ozpin?" Someone asked "He must be delusional" someone else's suggested. I was way to out of it to tell who was who. I could feel someone pick me up....I could hear Someones comforting voice. "Your gonna be ok oscar I promise." That was the last thing I heard before I blacked out.
