"Please tell us, sir, where were you for the last twenty years? Tell us, something about the King of Mars. Is he horrible? Are they cannibals?" Miss Janet, the 'Wonder World' channel's reporter tried to catch Mr. Erik Muller, the long lost man, who came back from the Red Planet after twenty-three years later.
"Go ahead, Janet." Her supervisor Kelvin softly said, "You'll not get another such scoop in the next twenty years."
Janet again tried to push the crowd back, other reporters are also trying to reach Erik Muller, the golden haired man with a pale complexion and wrinkled face; but today, he was the most valuable man to the reporters.
A cold voice stopped everyone, "Leave my son in peace." Senior Mr. Muller said.
"Janet;" Kelvin called her again, "Don't waste your time with Muller; see, Mr. Moor is sitting alone."
Janet did not waste her time; she adjusted her loose golden locks on her forehead and switched on the voice recorder inside her long-coat's pocket. Mr. Vézian Moore was the real hero, who found his friend from a Martian cave. However, he could not find his sister. Today, both Mr. Moore and Muller were called by the Earth Council to submit a report on their rescue mission. Both the families were asked to pay a lump-sum amount of money as the compensation for Captain Azora and her colleague's death. It was told that they died in the acid fog; but Vézian somehow managed to save himself.
A tall, slender man in brown leather jacket and black trouser was sitting alone in a reclining sofa at the waiting room of the Premier's office. Janet carefully walked towards him and her high-heel slipper's tiptoe noise distracted Vézian. He raised his eyebrows and looked at her angrily; his face was covered with grey and brown beards and moustaches. His brown hairs were not combed properly, as he was forced to come here.
"Ma'am; I am sorry; I am not the right person to ask for an interview; please ask my friend Erik." He said indifferently, "Please, leave me alone."
"I am sorry for your loss, Mr. Moore."
"Sorry for my loss?" Vézian suddenly broke down in laughter, "but I thought, you people are enjoying Erik's fairy tale story; how he overcame all strange hurdles to become a king's bodyguard and finally discovered that the king was his estrange son only."
"So you don't believe that the King was..."
"NO, I DO OT BELIEVE." Vézian shouted and broke a glass jug angrily.
The hall suddenly became pin-drop silent; everyone looked at him. Premier Donnerick Zammitt walked towards him and observed Vézian closely.
"I am sorry, Mr. Moore and Mr. Muller; both of your sons are psychologically unstable; they are traumatised. It is very natural; spending long time in an outer-planet is not an easy task." He said.
Senior Mr. Muller came forward, "No, no, he is fine..."
"Please, don't misunderstand me; they need counselling and close observation. Moreover, medical supervision is needed to see whether they are carrying any virus or bacteria with them."
