Chapter Two: Revealed.

Paris awoke during the night, shivering from the cold night air blowing through the open window. She had forgotten too close the window before she went to sleep.

Paris realized it was open and sat up looking towards it, her teeth chattering as she stood up and walked to the window-sill too close and lock it. She peered through the glass, seeing the library lights still on.

Paris watched the library windows for a couple of minutes before moving away, she then went to her drawers and put on her long sleeved red shirt and her blue jeans, pulling on her socks and slipping on her shoes. She opened her dorm door and peaked around, out of site in case anyone was present, once she knew the coast was clear she hurried down the hallway and skimmed around a corner.

Tip-toeing through the library door. Paris was eager to find out why the light was on, she snuck a long the book shelf and stared. seeing a tall dark haired boy sitting in one of the comfy green chairs, with his feet up on the footstool. He wore a blue T-shirt and long grey pants, his feet were bare and he was wiggling his toes while his read a book.

Paris peered through the book shelf to see what it was he was reading. She read a title on the front of the book that said 'World of Science.' Paris gave a confused look, wondering why someone would be reading a book on science.

It's the most boring book ever. As she placed a hand on the shelf some books tumbled over the other side. The boy jumped out of the chair and screamed, throwing the book at the shelf. Paris let out a pained yelp as the book smacked her in the face.

“Uuh. Geez...” She exclaimed, rubbing the side of her head.

"O...oh, it's okay." he said and straightened his glasses quickly onto the bridge of his nose. "Sorry I hit you with the book, um. I...I'm Felix." He introduced shyly and bearing a nervous and apologetic grin.

“I'm, Paris” she introduced "nice to meet you Felix, um. Why are you in the library so late at night?" she asked curiously.

"Oh, uhh, I'm just getting a head start in science exams, because. Well I want good marks" he informed, grinning proudly.

Paris nodded. "Oh okay then, but before the exams you need some sleep otherwise you'll be sleeping through the exam." She said.

"Oh, yeah, I know that I just got a bit distracted in the book" Felix said and collected the science book he was reading from the floor and looked at her. "Again, sorry about throwing the book." Felix apologized again and hugged the book to his chest before walking towards the library exit, bumping into someone, he had walked into Izac, jolting backwards. "Sorry!" Felix exclaimed.

"Hm, it's okay. Nobody was harmed." Izac said and gently pat the shorter males head and gave him an assuring smile. It was odd for Paris to see Izac smile, he rarely did show emotion of any sort, he was commonly seen with a depressed and dark appearance about him.

Felix's cheeks blushed a bright red before he ran out hugging the book.

Paris looked across at Izac and gave him a smile. "Izac, it's late at night, why are you here?" She asked curiously.

Izac stared at her and paused for a short moment before speaking, choosing his words carefully. "I could ask you the same question, but I'm here to hand in a finished book I've read." He answered, sliding a small book in the library return slot.

Paris nodded and looked at him, her eyes following him as he exited the library. "hmm, him.. return a book?" she questioned to herself and went to the book return slot and pulled out the book Izac had put in. She looked at the book front cover, her eyes skimming over the title. 'feelings for the same sex'. Paris stared at the title. "why would Izac be reading something like this, what's it about?" She wondered and opened the book, as she read quietly inside her head, slowly taking a seat to rest her legs. She read half way through a page and coming to her realization her eye brows raised in surprise. "Izac...is gay?" She spoke aloud, quickly covering her mouth and looked around the room, making sure nobody was around.
