I never thought I'd feel like this, but I miss her. I miss her lame jokes, her cute smile, her awkwardness, her shyness. I was so happy when we talked. I really wanted to see her. But I can't. I don't want to get too close to her. I don't want to get hurt again. But I think I love her. I've never loved a girl this way. I really miss her.

I sighed as I walked into the schoolyard. She was there. And she was waiting for someone. Suddenly, she looked at me and smiled.

"Jennie!I never thought you'd come."

"Well, I did."

"I'm really sorry for bothering you." She sighed.

"I was lying. You're not bothering me, I just hate this place."

"Y-you know... I missed you.." She said quietly.

"Gay." I said and she giggled.

"Shut up!"

"Aren't you?"

"But you're my friend, of course I missed you."

"Okay, okay." I said and added "How are things with you and Chaeyoung going?"

"What?"

"I mean the date you went to that day we were texting."

"That wasn't a date, Gosh!" She giggled. "We're best friends, we just act like that."

"Oh, okay."

"Is anything wrong with that?"

"I just thought you were dating her, that's all."

"Jealous much?" She smiled.

"Dumb much?"

She giggled. "You lowkey love me don't lie."

"You're annoying." I rolled my eyes.

"But you love me."

"No"

"But I love you" She said quietly as the car drove by, thinking I can't hear her.

"What?" I said as if I didn't hear her.

"No-nothing." She looked at the ground.

"Ugh, fine."

"Wanna go to that café nearby?"

"Are you asking me on a date?"

"Bitch you thought"

"I'm not a bitch."

"I was...joking"

I giggled "Choke"

"Wow, this is the first time you giggled. Cute"
