*The First Day Of School*

Well, today's the day. The first day of school. I woke up at 4:30 this morning and it was 6:00 before I was done getting dressed. I decided to wear a pair of my new jeans that I got a couple of weeks ago. The color started fading a little bit but it's still very dark. I also decided to wear a burgundy-ish short sleeve shirt with spikes, golden sandals, golden bracelets, and a ring with a bow on it.

For my hair, I brushed it and curled my hair a little bit so that it would look nicer. Yesterday I painted my nails so that they would look good for today and I think they came out really well.

I did my normal makeup and headed down to the kitchen. So, I talked to my mom about 2 weeks ago and she told me that the reason that she has been leaving the house earlier is that a couple of the people who hired her to represent their business had to fire her or else my ex-dad would stop sponsoring them.

Not only was I oblivious to the fights to my parents, I was oblivious to the true monster my dad is. I saw him the day after I had a total melt down. He talked to me and told me that he left because he couldn't take care of me and because he and my mother just didn't get along anymore. I told him about what I saw and he didn't have anything to say. A man who doesn't have anything to say is no man at all. I can't believe I ever saw him as a good person.

I got a text from Khrystyna first thing this morning and I need to text her back. After I went and grabbed a breakfast bar from my pantry and got into my car.

Before I started driving, I texted Khrystyna back and told her I was on my way to school and that we would talk when I got there. She said on and I put on my seatbelt. Right before I got onto the road, someone decided to zoom past me and almost cause me to get into a wreck. Great, this morning is turning out great. Once I did get onto the road, I turned on the radio and let my mind wander somewhere else. It only took me 20 minutes to get there and I got a parking spot right in the front of the school. That spot is actually reserved for me because everyone treats me like royalty and thinks I should have the best spot in the entire parking lot.

Samantha is none too pleased about that but when she decides to attack me, I will unveil her dirty little secret to the whole school.

When I walked in, I was showered with welcome backs, hugs, and gossip. Cheer tryouts are tomorrow and since I've been on varsity since freshman year, I'm one of the judges. The tryouts span from tomorrow to Friday. Yes, today is Monday, and yes, I HATE MONDAYS!!!

I saw Samantha join her group of bitches and walk away. Samantha has always been jealous of me but has too much of an ego to admit it. Luke walked by me and seeing him made me realize, I don't like him the same way I used to. We are still good friends, but I just don't think if him in the same way.

The bell rang signaling that it was time for class and that's when Khrystyna ran into the building. She's late, as usual.

"Sorry I'm late Loren, I woke up late and then I hit traffic, and the line in Starbucks was ridiculous. I mean there were..." See what I mean by Khrystyna rambles. I pretend to listen while we walk and since we have the same schedule, we go everywhere together.

"And that's what happened. Isn't that a crazy morning?" Khrystyna asked. I just nodded my head and we were on our way. Our first class is Honors Calculus. We are very smart and chose all honors classes. When your a senior, if you choose honors classes, you will be taught some stuff that you learn in college. Of course, some colleges teach differently, but they all have the same concept. Also, you go more in depth about this stuff in college.
