 THE EPILOGUE

The hallway looked amazing decorated with purple and white balloons. The trophies won by this year's seniors were on display, flaunting their achievements. Pictures were hanging on the walls, looking great as well.

The atmosphere was really exciting. Parents were rushing into the hall room to witness their child's one of the most memorable day, to wanting to miss a second of it. It's a nice scene.

The other students were roaming here and there, trying to see how the seniors look, but I guess, they all are getting ready right now. Of course they deserve time to look their best, because it's their memorable day.

Because it's their graduation day today!

Yes, the seniors are getting graduated today, exciting right? It's definitely for them. Graduation days are always special, even if it isn't yours. I remember when my mom told me about her graduation day, she said it was a blast. Some kids were more than happy to leave school whereas others were crying because it was over. School definitely is a big part of our lives. Not only the education we gain here, but also the memories we create. The memories with our childish friends, the worst or the best teachers, with our overly worried parents who are always thinking that will their kids be able to get through high school and even with our love interests. It's always here.

College life might be more independent and more 'mature' than this but it still hold it's special place in all our hearts.

I entered the hall room and gasped at the beautiful sight. It looked so nice. The chandelier, the pictures, the memorable marks of their achievements. The theme looked so marvellous, and all thanks to our school's decorative community.

"Wow, I can't believe my daughters are graduating." dad whispered while we were walking to our seats.

I narrowed my eyes at him and said, "What do you mean by 'daughters'? I am not getting graduated today, I still have one more year to pass out."

He gave me a sheepish smile, "Sorry, but you're going to graduate soon as well."

"Yeah, after a whole freaking year." I exclaimed.

"Okay then, I'll do my correction. 'Wow, I can't believe my daughter is getting graduated today and the another one will do after an year." Happy Jady?" he asked sarcastically.

"Whoa, where does the sarcasm comes from?" I asked with disbelief when we sat on our respective seats.

"I know, I think I should stop watching those bitchy shows during lunch time. They're pretty addictive and catchy." he breath out and I chuckled at him. Only my dad can admit that he watches those housewives kind of shows. He was got the courage man.

"Please settle down our respected parents and other students. The ceremony will start any minute. I request you to take your seats and see your kids becoming graduates." one of the teacher announced through the microphone on the stage.

That's when my eyes went to mom who was looking like a lost puppy, in search for her seat. Yes, she came here, how she can't miss such a big day of Sage's life.

"Hey mom, over here." I called out, causing her to turn in my direction and smile. She passed the other parents and came to where I was sitting.

"Hey Jady." mom said, taking a seat to my let whereas dad was sitting on my right.
