I carefully opened my eyes, being cautious of the blinding light that, for some reason, was brightly illuminating in my eyes.
'What the hell...' I muttered, trying to take in my surroundings with blurry eyes.
"She's waking up guys..." I heard a feminine voice whisper, some shuffling happened but I still couldn't make out what was going on.
"That light.. jeez." I mustered out in a croaky voice.
"OH IM SO SORRY!" The woman gasped, instantly removing the light.
I squinted and blinked a few times, regaining my focus, I was instantly met with the same multi-coloured floofs as I was when I blacked out.
This time they were all over the room, a brown haired one seemed to be near a wall, a red and green one was on one side of my bed and a blue one on the other.
Long locks of dark chestnut seemed to be righty infront of me.
Upon gaining compete visibility, I was met with a cheery woman. She looked in her 20's and had a stethoscope wrapped around her neck.
"Welcome back stranger." She greeted in a friendly tone, flashing me a joyful smile.
"H..hi?" I muttered back. I sat up, taking in my surroundings.
I seemed to be in a well-kept hospital room of some sorts, on a quite comfortable bed, especially for an apocalypse.
"Where am I?" I managed to speak, my throat painfully sore from dehydration.
"Your home friend!" A loud green haired man squealed in a thick Irish accent.
The red haired slapped his arm while the blue haired gave him a long hard scowl, he frowned and looked down.
"Who are you?" The blue haired spoke.
"Y..Y/N." I stuttered, admiring his face.
"Why did you come to our gates?" He harshly replied.
"I..I was seeking refuge. Ive been out there for so long and that herd was on my tail, I thought I was a goner." I sighed, thinking back to how lucky I was finding this place.
He hummed and continued to stare down at me, it made my cheeks dust pink but I quickly pushed all emotions aside and start taking action.
"Who are all of you?"
He hummed again, biting his lip for a second before releasing it a sighing.
"My name is Ethan. Over there with the red hair is Mark and the loud Irish is Sean, but he prefers people to call him Jack." The two looked at me and smiled, Jacks smile noticeably larger than Marks.
"The woman who fixed you up is Kathryn." She did a small wave.
"And that's Tyler." He pointed to the guy leaned up against the wall, reading an out of date newspaper.
Tyler looked up, snapping out of concentration and gave me a stone-faced stare.
"Hello." He spoke before turning his attention back to the paper.
Ethan rolled his eyes and looked back to me.
"Do you have a group or... family?"
I shuddered thinking about my family, flash backs of the events I witnessed.
----
I screamed in utter terror, watching first my mother getting torn apart from the shoulders until she deflated down like a dead balloon, the flesh-eating monsters ripping chunks of her skin from every limb.D E A D
My father was next to go, he stood in a state of shock, anxiety taking over his body, it coursed through his veins and as quick as a flash, his hand, what was still connected in a firm grip on my mothers, was chewed and digested into the rotting corpses stomachs, the rest of him following along.

I gripped my 8 year old sisters hand firmly, like we were super-glued together and dragged her aimlessly through the dimly lit forest, she screamed and cried, fussing and squirming in my grip. She cried for her mother and father like her life depended on it, this caused us more attention.
"Melanie please be quiet sweetie!" I called to her as we ran.
Nothing was working and I was running out of ideas fast, she was causing us hassle and at this rate we will be dead.
I can't blame her, she's a young, innocent 8 year old who has just been mentally scarred by seeing her beloved parents ripped to shreds by some merciless creatures.
My palms started to sweat but I payed no attention to them, all I focused on was getting the hell out of here and getting my sister safe.
I was so focused infact that I didn't notice the sweat caused our palms to slip and slide, I held on as tight as I could, I held on for dear life, but in the end, it was not worth it anymore.
My leg caught on a rock, causing me to trip and release Melanie's hand.
I slid to a cliff, my hands stabbing into sharp rocks or stones to stop myself from tumbling completely off the edge as my lower half and more was pretty much dangling.
I tried with all my might to pull myself up and save my baby sister, but I was too exhausted.
With the last strength I had I lifted my head up, noticing Melanie was long gone, her screams for her parents echoed throughout the forest.
I cried, begging that she would get scared and find somewhere to hide until I find her, or until someone trust-worthy finds her and brings her to safety.
My hands slipped, dragging across all the sharp corners of these rocks. My hands were a bloody mess, not only my own fresh blood but the walker blood stained a dirty, greenish crimson too.
I let go, hoping to land a soft fall that wasn't too far, but instantly felt sharps pains and I rolled roughly down gravel, glass and a mixture of everything. After some time I reached the bottom and I just layed there, silently on the stones.
That was until I heard blood- curdling screams come from above, where I was running moments before...

------
"N..no." I replied, holding back tears.
Jack looked at me with a frown, same with Mark and I could feel Tyler's eyes focus on me for a while too.
Ethan sighed and rubbed his temple with a finger and thumb.
"Ty, go get Amy please." Ethan requested still massaging his temple.
"Your the boss..." he sighed, placing down his newspaper on a nearby oak coffee table and making his way out the door.
"Just relax for now." Ethan spoke before clicking his fingers and exiting the room with Jack, Mark and Kathryn.
