  After everyone had finished eating breakfast, Mrs. Turner started morning announcements. There usually aren't any announcements in the morning. Or at all, really. But if there was, it was usually very important.
"Good Morning," said Mrs. Turner
"Good Morning Mrs. Turner," replied the children obediently.
"I only have one announcement today. And this announcement is very important. Though today is not adopting day... We have some special guest coming to adopt a child a child. They will be interviewing all of you children, so please go get dressed. Because it isn't adopting day, there is no need to wear nice clothes. They will be here in 30 minutes," announced Mrs. Turner.
I gasped and quickly ran upstairs to put on better jeans, that weren't stained in food from breakfast. I grabbed my and took my converse off. I grabbed my LeBron's  and slid them on. My LeBron's were an older model, but they were still LeBron's. So I loved them!
Suddenly, the loudspeaker crackled to life.
"Could everyone come down to the Meet and Greet Room? Our guests are here."
I quickly ran down stairs and into the Meet and Greet Room. I was the last one to arrive out of the 20 of us who lived in the orphanage, so I sat down in the last available chair. To me, I didn't really care that I was the last one. I knew that I wouldn't be getting adopted, because I was the oldest and everyone wanted some younger. Not a 13 year old like me. But even if I did (which I know I won't), the people always have to discuss who after meeting all of us.
I pulled out my phone and put in my earbuds and started to listen to One Direction's Midnight Memories album and then went to go check my Instagram. Finally, after like a half an hour. Miss. Ashley stuck her head out of the door and called my name.
"Emily Johnson" called Miss. Ashley.
"Coming Miss. Ashley!" I called.
I got up closing down my Instagram app and going to my Xbox Music app to close down as well. Or at least pause my music. I walked into the room. My eyes still on my phone while pulling out my earbuds.
"Hey Emily," said Miss. Ashley, "Can you put your phone away please?"
"What? Oh. Sorry," I replied, "I was just turning my music off."
"Okay, well. Please hurry up and put your phone on the table," Miss Ashley smiled at me, "Then please greet our guests."
"Yes, Miss. Ashley," I replied obediently.
I put my phone on the table and shut the screen off and looked up. I gasped. I was looking at One Direction.
"Keep Calm," I told myself, "Keep Calm."
"You must be Emily Johnson. Right?" Liam suddenly spoke.
"What? Oh. Yea, I am." I said taking my seat.
"Good, well we are just going to ask you like 5 questions," Zayn came out of the shadows.
"Okay," I said not really putting any feelings into my response.
"Well I guess that we can just say them all and you can answer them all at once. Does that sound okay?" Niall smiled at me.
"Yeah. That's fine," I smiled shyly.
"Okay. Question 1. How old are you? Question 2. What are your hobbies? Question 3. What grade are you in? Question 4. Have you been to school before? And finally, question 5. Do you do any sports?" Harry said.
"Okay. Let's see. I am 13 years old. My hobbies include reading, playing the violin, and hanging out with friends. I..." Niall cut me off.
"Wait, did you just say playing violin?" he asked.
"Umm... Yeah. I did." I looked a bit confused.
"So you are saying that you play violin," he suddenly looked excited.
"Umm. Yeah I do."
"Are you any good?"
"It depends on what you think is good." I admitted.
"Really?" exclaimed Niall.
"Yah. Anyways... Moving on... Like I was saying. I am going into eighth grade. Yes I have been to school before. I am the only one in the orphanage who does, cause I am the oldest and they figured that I should probably continue my education. I play point guard in basketball. Does that answer all of your questions?" I looked around at everyone.
"Yeah. It does. Thank you," Louis smiled at me.
I smiled back at the boys, then grabbed my phone and left the room.
