Marinette's POV

Later that night I hear a tapping noise that wakes me up, I look around my room to see that it's empty and my eyes land on the clock reading 2:36 am. I put my head back on my pillow and close my eyes. I hear the tapping noise again. I then notice it coming from the trap door that leads to the balcony. I don't bother waking up Tiki because I already know who it is. "Silly kitty." I whisper to myself as I unlock the trap door. I should just keep this unlocked I think to myself and open the door and step out onto the chilly balcony and not seeing him. "Chat?" I say hopping he's not playing a trick on me this late and all I feel is a strong hit on my head and everything goes blurry as I hit the floor and everything goes black. And I hear someone say, "Good night Ladybug."

Adrien/Chat's POV

My father finally goes to sleep at 3:00 am and I can sneak out to see Marinette like we planned, however I was hopping it would be earlier then this. But she won't mind. "Plagg, claws out!" I say and I'm engulfed in a green light and leap out of my window onto a near by roof. I do this until I'm on Marinette's balcony. I detransform and Plagg hovers beside me. I go to the trap door to see that it's already open. "Maybe she's expecting you?" Plagg says and I nod. I slightly knock on the trap door before entering her room but I hear no response. I hop down the ladder and see that her beds empty. Tiki immediately flies toward us in a panic. "Adrien thank goodness you're here! Marinette's been taken." She quickly says and I stand there in shock. "What do you mean? By who? When?" I say flooded with questions. "I don't know. I woke up and she's just gone. I looked everywhere, she's not here. She wouldn't go out this late and without me. I'm worried." Tiki says with tears running down her face. "I think I have an idea of who took her and why." Is at as I'm putting the pieces together.. Hawkmoth
"Plagg, claws out." I say and I transform. "Come on Tiki, when we find her, Marinette's going to need you." I say and she wipes her tears and nods. We head to Hawkmoth lair as Tiki flies next to me.
