Rose's Love Conflict

Chapter One, The Confession

             All Rose could remember is right after she broke up with John, Kanaya confessed her love to Rose. Rose told Kanaya that she had mutual feelings, and asked to date her.

It had been a long day, and Rose was tired. She tried to sleep, but couldn’t.  She walked outside her room to find Kanaya, sitting on the couch reading a book.  She walked towards Kanaya. “Oh, hey there” Rose said to Kanaya. 

“Hello My Love” Kanaya replied. “How are you fairing this fine evening?” she asked, sitting down next to Kanaya. “I Am Fairing Quite Well This Evening Thank You For Inquiring And How Are You” Kanaya questioned. “Cold, very cold. I suppose I will survive.” Rose said, shriving a bit.

“Would You Like To As You Humans Say Cuddle” She said, making contact with Rose’s eyes. “Well, that certainly does sound pleasant. I would like to 'cuddle' in whichever way you deem decent.” Kanaya awkwardly shuffled towards Rose, wrapping her arms around her neck and waist. “This Is Quite Enjoyable”.

Rose's eyes flicker to meet Kanaya's when she wraps her arms around her, and despite her nervousness, she shuffles closer, burying her face into the crook of Kanaya's neck. "I think I may have upset John..." Kanaya gently petted her hair, softly smiling. She nuzzled the top of her head, sighing. 

"I Can Tell He Still Feels Strongly About You".  Relaxing just a little when Kanaya petted her hair, Rose's eyes slipped shut and her shoulders slumped just a tiny bit.

"Am I a cruel person?”  Kanaya blinked, softly laughing. She thought what Rose had just said was completely ridiculous. "You A Cruel Person" She laughed. "Thats Absurd My Dear" ‎"I feel like I am. But I was sure he- ugh. I suppose there is no helping it."

Rose lifted her head, because this was cruel on Kanaya to only talk about John after the previous night's love confession, so she wrapped her arms around the Virgo, pulling her close, and standing on her tip toes to kiss her. ‎"Its Okay I Understand That You Are Upset"  Kanaya's eyes lit up as she saw Rose pulling her in. She was very happy to be with Rose, and this had been their first kiss, so she was a bit nervous. Kanaya kissed her back gently, lightly blushing.

Kanaya pulled back smiling. "It Is Indeed Quite Late I Suggest You Get Some Rest My Dearest" "I suppose you're right, my love. I'll see you in the morning, yes?" "Of Course" Kanaya waved to Rose and she left to go to sleep.
