Michael was taking his morning jog as usual every morning. As he jogged, he reminisced the time he had with his beloved. He remembered how he first met her here in this very park and how he ends up taking up jogging as his new daily workout because of her.

As he was diving deep into his memories, he didn't see where he was going. Before he knew it, he felt a big bump on his body.

He fell and he know that certainly the other person he crashed into fell too. He got up first and tried to help the other person up.

"I'm sorry," Michael apologized, "Let me help you up."

He took a few moments to look at the person he crashed into and realized it's a girl. She have black-brown hair that matches her bright brown eyes that lies behind her glasses. She's also fair skinned and she seems to be holding on to a book.

"Thanks," she muttered, not making eye contact.

"Ohh, you're welcome," he said and smiled, "That book you're reading, looks interesting. Mind if you tell me about it?"

"I-I'm sorry. I gotta go," she stuttered before running away.

"Hey, wait up!" Michael called out to her, "Aren't you hurt? You shouldn't be running so fast after you just fel---"

She fell down again with a shriek this time.

"Fell down..." Michael continued his sentence from earlier. "Did I just hear a weird shrieking sound just now? Ahh, nevermind that, I need to help her up," he thought to himself.

"Hey, you should be careful, miss," he advised her politely and stretched out his hands to her, " Here, try standing up slowly now. Tell me if somewhere hurts."

He help her up slowly and look at her legs to see if there's any obvious signs of injuries.

"There seems to be no problem from the outside," Michael stated and he remembered something, "Oh, yeah. Sorry. My name's Michael. It's so rude of me to not introduce myself from the start. Haha, I think I scared you off. Just like with the time with Ruby."

"Who's Ruby?" she asked.

"Opps, did that name slip out?" Michael said in a surprised tone. "Ahaha, well she's my lady," he noted with a sweet smile as he thinks about her, "I met her here a few months back. She fell down like you too. But she needs to go to the clinic later though."

He laughed lightly as he finished. The girl blinked a few times showing her confusions.

"Sorry," he apologized immediately knowing he had made her confused with unnecessary informations, "Basically, she's my girlfriend. So, are you okay?"

"I am fine. I do have to hurry home though," she said, finally looking at him.

"Ahh, I see," he said, "I'm sorry I think I took a lot of your tim---"

BAM!!!

The girl and Michael snapped their heads to the source of the sound. What they saw was something unbelievable.

There was nothing...
