I got home, dumped my bags and slumped down on the sofa. I had already given my number to LOADS of cute boys today so my phone was positively buzzing with excitement as text after text after text came through my blackberry saying hi Laura this is Sam, hey Laura this is Harry... But none came from Jack. Of course none came from Jack: I didn't give him my number! I was too shy. My mum's voice came down the stairs saying "did you have a nice day at school babe?" I rolled my eyes "yes mum, how's Nathalie?" Nathalie is my younger sister and is the person I care about most in the world. My Mum and Dad are just kind of annoying! "She's really happy about today! "She is round her friend Faye's house at the moment. how much homework have you got?" I didn't answer to that. I just got on with it. My mind was just a swirling, spiraling mess of that day at school. I rushed through my homework and crashed onto the sofa along with my iPod. I spent the next hour googling tactics to ask out boys. I texted Maddy (my best friend) and told her about Jack! She said that I should go in for the kill when I know him a bit better. I took her advice and put the 'asking out boys' research to rest for now!
The door bell rang and I sauntered sleepily towards the door to find Nathalie standing at the door with Faye and her Mum. I unlocked the door, said thankyou to Faye and her Mum and let Nathalie in.
Went to bed after that to think things over and get ready for the early start in the morning. I was planning to get up extra early so that I would have enough time to wash my hair and do my make-up.
