Roses // Shawn Mendes

Chapter 5

   *Shawn's P.O.V*
I don't think this Dominic guy really likes her. I don't know why but he doesn't seem like he does. I wrote down more to my song...

It's not that I don't want to see you smile
But there's no way that he can feel the same

I finished writing the song and put the paper on the table then left to go to the beach.

*Sarah's P.O.V*
I drove to Dominics house and went inside. He gave me a key last week so I could come if I needed him. I walked in and saw him on the couch kissing some other girl. We've only been dating for 2 weeks and he's already cheating on me. He stopped and looked at me shocked. He didn't say anything. He tried but couldn't. I ran out. I couldn't stand there watching him with another girl, so I got in my car and drove off. I never want to see him again. Ugh! Why are guys so mean?

I sat in the sand on the beach, watching the waves. I layed back and closed my eyes. I don't wanna see anything anymore. I just wish I never loved him. Why did I ever think a guy like him would like me. I took a deep breath and tried to sleep but before I could I heard my name being called. I sat up and saw Shawn running over to me.

We talked for what felt like forever. I told him everything...including about how Dominic cheated on me. Shawn was so sweet. He listened to me and helped me. He let me cry into his shoulder. We stood up to leave and I gave him a hug. The second I hugged him I felt something in my heart. It felt like...i fell for Shawn

*Shawn's P.O.V*
As Sarah hugged me, i felt the spark again. I feel it every time we touch. We let go of the hug, said our goodbyes, and left. When I got home I saw my song on the table and decided to record a video. I grabbed my guitar and sat down in front of the camera and started.

"Hello. I'm Shawn Mendes and this song is called Roses." And with that I started singing.
