Roses // Shawn Mendes

Chapter 7

*Dominic's P.O.V*
It took me a few minutes but I soon realised what happened. I ran down to the ice and tried to help them. Blood was coming from Shawn's head and Sarah just layed there. I started screaming for help. Why did I push him. My hands were shaking as I tried everything I could. Soon I heard police sirens. I looked up and saw the police cars stop and 3 officers come running down. 1 grabbed me and took me back to the car and the other 2 called a ambulance.

I told the cop everything. I couldn't stop shaking and crying. The officers talked for a minute before putting me in handcuffs and putting me in 1 of the cop cars. I deserve whatever happens to me. I just hope Sarah and Shawn are ok. I don't have any idea why I did that. I looked down at my feet and prayed that they would be ok.

*Shawn's P.O.V*
I stood there next to Sarah's body screaming for help. Nobody was coming. Why was this happening. The girl I'm in love with is knocked out on the ice and there's nothing I can do. I looked down and noticed blood on the ice. My eyes got wide as I realised it was my blood. I got sick to my stomach and everything went blurry then...My eyes opened. I looked around soon realising I was in the hospital. I looked down and saw needles in my arms. I started to freak out. About 3 nurses and a doctor ran in to help me. I looked up at the doctor "Why am I here? What happened?" The doctor looked at me "Sir 2 days ago you fell onto really hard ice with some girl. We had to stitch the back of your head to stop the bleeding, but don't worry. The guy who pushed you guys is in prison" I suddenly remembered everything that happened. I looked back up "where is Sarah" the doctor smiled. "She's in the room next to you. She's awake and doing fine. She has a broken arm like you and she lost some memory but that's it" I gulped "C-Can I see her?" I asked. The doctor nodded and took the needles out of my arm. He then helped me out of the bed. I walked to Sarah's room and opened the door. She looked at me. I smiled "Hi Sarah" she looked confused "Umm hi? Who are you" when I heard those words my heart broke into a million pieces. I reached into my pocket and pulled out a necklace I was going to give her. It was a locket. I handed it to her and she opened it. Inside was a picture of her and I as kids and then another picture of us from a week ago. On the bottom it read "Sarah and Shawn. Friends forever" she looked up at me and whispered "Shawn"

*Sarah's P.O.V*
I looked back up at him and mumbled "Shawn" he smiled. "You remember me?" He asked. I nodded my head "A little." He smiled and asked the doctor when we can leave. He said whenever so Shawn and I left. He helped me to a taxi and then he starts texting someone. Of course. The day we get out of the hospital after almost dying he is on his phone. Wow.

*Shawn's P.O.V*
I got in a taxi with Sarah and then texted Steven.
"Hey get to my house quick. I have a rose on my dresser in my room. I need you to put it on the kitchen table. Leave the lights off." I put my phone back in my pocket and smiled at Sarah.
