(HOLY SHIT 172 VIEWS???  WTF!  You guys are awesome, I've literally been writing for a month or so, and already people are reading my stuff.  Thank you!)

Teddy flew through the air, following the tire tracks they had found.  There was a speck in the distance.

"Guys look!"

Tord was growing nearer, and waved his arms in the air.  They sped towards him, their eyes wide, noticing bruises and blood all over him.

"What happened?", Edd asked.

He shook his head, "Not now, we have to leave, get all your things, we're going back home."

"What about Aibne?", asked Teddy.

Tord looked over at her, "He'll find his way home, I swear he's like a homing pigeon.  He'll be fine."

Teddy nodded and flew between the four, looking back where Tord had came from.

'Stay safe love.'

Aibne opened her eyes, he was still in the hollow, his wings wrapped around him for warmth.  He checked the makeshift bandages, they were holding steady, no blood spilled.  He peeked out of the hollow and looked around, the woods were quiet, birds and animals chirping and chattering.  He spread his wings and launched out of the den, flying straight up and into the sky.

Aibne leveled off when the air grew thin, gliding and heading back towards the cabin.  Tord and the others would probably be headed home, but if he was lucky he'd be able to catch them.

~Timeskip~

Aibne quickly landed next to the cabin, collapsing in pain from his leg, letting there for a moment before standing and walking into the cabin, grabbing any essentials and limping back out.

"General Raven."

He whipped around, his eyes wide.  The man the the condor wings stood before him, the appendages folded along his back, too big to fit under his grey uniform.

Aibne's breath was still slightly laboured from his flight, but he stood straight and ignored his throbbing wounds, "Blue Leader, I'd say it be a pleasure, but then I'd be lying."

"Just as comedic as always, you never know when to quit, do you?", he said.

Aibne's eyes quickly darted around, spotting the hidden soldiers in the treeline.  He scanned the air for any escapes, but only found more soldiers circling them.

Aibne sighed, he was trapped, "I guess not, but you make it seem like a bad thing."

"If you had just given up, then this wouldn't have to be so hard.", he said.

Aibne chuckled, "It's always hard dumbass, it's called life, ever had one?  Oh wait, you haven't, because you've spent all your time hunting us down."

The man glared at her and stepped forward a bit.  Aibne, seeing a small opening, flared his wings and took to the sky, speeding upwards and then dropping, rolling and weaving around soldiers, disappearing into the clouds.

"So long suckers."

(Hey, thank you everyone for the support, but I think this might be last update on this story.  I have a book of one-shots called Why Do I Love You?, that is open for requests.   Thank you guys, and I'll talk to you later.  PEACE- Aibne)
