"Steve the building is going down!" You screamed from the roof of one of the biggest weapon supplier buildings in the business. The team had been tracking one of the biggest super villains in the existence of super villains and it turns out he was the exact same guy who had been one of the biggest weapon dealers in the world. You found him and before you knew it he said he'd rather go down with the business than face what's waiting for him if he survived. So he blew up the building. With you on top. Watching look out. We just need a look out they said. Can't I go with you? You replied. No no a look out is what we need! Oh yes they totally needed a lookout! What liars! Did they seriously think you were that stupid. You were running as fast as you could but you didn't have super speed for crying out loud! You had laser vision not x-ray vision so putting you on 'look out' made no sense, what so ever. So here
You were trying to get to the other side of roof running for your life. It was crumbling around faster and faster the rumbles and cracking were almost underneath your feet now you were grasping at the hope that one of your team mates would remember you were up there and come save you! As this was all playing out your super modified sunglasses were starting to slip and that meant bad news if they came off. Honestly you knew now was probably no the time to be thinking about that but it was really unfair how you had the crappy gear and everyone else had the most amazing equipment ever! As you neared the edge of the building you we grateful sure but also slightly terrified because wouldn't you know it! You were going to have to jump off the side of it plummeting to your death because either way you were weren't going to get out of this alive and you were either going down with the building or of your own accord and you were secretly hoping that maybe tony would see you flailing in the air and come and catch you! You closed your eyes and off you went the air rushing up around you your heart racing, you waiting for the white hot pain that would occur just before you died as you hit the ground with a splat. Suddenly there was a familiar voice in your ear calling your name. Was it the higher up? Were you already dead?

"(Y/N)! Open your eyes!" Nervously you did as the voice said and all you saw was ground faster and faster you were falling toward it. You were going to puke but before you did that you screamed at the top of your lungs. The hot air surrounding you ripped up your throat as you yelled and wailed with all the strength in you. "(Y/N)!" The voice yelled over your screaming. "Stop screaming and turn you head to the right!" Sam was shooting down beside you.

"Sam! Help help!" You were frantically trying to reach out for him but the wind was too strong you couldn't even brush his arm.

"(Y/N)! That's what I'm trying to do! Now I'm going to go in front of you and as soon as I open my wings brace yourself for coming to an abrupt and dense stop. Understood?"

"Yes! Yes! Just- wait you're going to close your wings!" Before you could protest he already reacted his wings and fell faster than you. He angled himself right under you and before you could say 'language' you impacted with such force you were surprised your head didn't snap back and you didn't end up with whiplash. You closed your eyes again and muttered "If we die, I'm going to kill you."

"(Y/N) it's okay, we're safe your not going to die from here on out it'll be a safe ride to the ground, just wrap your arms around me and we can land." You didn't realize it but you and Sam were just hovering in the air now he was waiting for you to grab hold and he could move into and up right position and have you both land. So you did just that. Once you feet
Hit the ground you jumped off Sam's back and ran to face him. You seized his shirt collar. With tears rolling down your cheeks and even a runny nose you slammed your lips onto his obviously catching him by surprise. You broke the kiss a few times to add a few salty tear single pecks in but then went back to crushing his lips against your own. At first Sam was so shocked he didn't know what to do but as the kissing kept on going and he hadn't rebuked you yet (so he must be liking it he assumed) he kissed you back wrapping his muscular around your waist. Both of you melted into the kissed as your crying ceased and you only were taking in heavy breaths and wheezing here or there. Finally when we you parted it took a moment to register what you had done.

"Oh my! Oh! Oh! Oh! I'm so sorry! So so sorry Sam I'm just- I guess I was- and then! So happy you caught me and I-I lived! I-I-I thank you." You blushed and took a piece of your wind blown hair and brushed it behind your ear. Sam just stood there for a moment staring at you before he took off his goggles and set them upon his forehead. "Sorry again." You mumbled as he got closer.

"What are you sorry for?" He asked stepppng closer and closer making your heart start racing again.

"For... um that scene I created back there I'm um sorry for kissing you." You played with your 'modified' sunglasses so happy they didn't fall off in that mess. Which was off you thought they shouldn't have- no! You felt around the back of your head they elastic banded themselves to your head! Just then the elastic receded back into the glasses. Your attention was brought back though by Sam scratching the back of his neck and asking

"You're sorry for kissing me?" Your eyes widened even though he most likely couldn't see it behind the glasses.

"No. I just kinda threw myself onto you! Actually I've been wanting to do that for a long time." You whispered the last part to yourself hoping Sam didn't hear but wouldn't luck have it Sam did hear.

"You know didn't mind that kiss either." His lips were so close to yours once again it was unbearable.

"W-Would you like to try it again, I promise this time I won't cry all over you." You were about to close the gap between the two of you when he said

"That's good, this time I promise to kiss back right away, even if you cry all over me." That was it you pressed your lips to his and before you knew it, it was like you were in a different world you were so wrapped up in each other that Tony had to come over.

"Break it up love birds! We have to put some damage control into place now." You and Sam hopped away from each bashful grins across both of your faces.

"Right on it Tony!" He called and Tony shook his head and flew off.

"I guess we have to go do damage control, want to come with me, it'd take less time if we helped each other out." Sam slung an arm over your shoulder.

"Alright but if we die out there, I'm going to kill you." You punched him on the shoulder.

"Okay, I wouldn't have it another way."
