His friends were sitting around him now, starring. They knew something was up with him. He was never like this. Actually that's a lie. He was always like this, when he was trying to hide his emotions.
It was Clary who spoke up first, it always was. "What's going on Jace? You're freaking us out."
"I have a sister" he said, being blunt and to the point. That was the only way he could get through this. "We were born while my parents ... oh God my parents." He was trying so hard to keep it in, keep it together. "While they were still in the circle. Valentine experimented on us like he did Johnathan. He gave us a dose of demon and angel blood, hoping we would be different. We were, because he didn't know there would be two of us."
Their faces were stark white. All of them. They didn't know what to think. They just knew they had to hear more, they had so many questions.
"How did you get separated" asked Clary
Isabelle piped in, "Where is she now? Why didn't you tell us?
Throughout all the questioning, and the subsequent answers, Alec was the only one to remain silent. He kept thinking about what this would mean. Would they try and find her? Why now? And the continuous imagining of what it would've been like for him is Izzy or Max was taken from him. No matter what answers he heard or what dangers and fears lies ahead, he would help make it right. After all, Jace was his best friend, his brother, his parabatai.
It took all of a few minutes to let the others know this, as they could read him from a mile away. They all agreed to help in what way they could, and that's when the figure appeared again and took them away.
